David, the costs are fascinating, although I appreciate you can’t go into too much detail. The “silent video” is ok but I prefer it with your musings about the job, where you’ve been to or whatever else you want to counter about. See Luke Vernon, Pete Owens, Matt Ireland, Ned Kelly, Stevie Bloke etc, etc. They all create a “watcher ship” who join them for the journey. Good luck.

Always wanted to be a truck driver ever since my grandad used to take me all over Britain in his brand new scania in the early 80s ... I never got round to it as me and the wife started having kids together at 16yrs old , I love your vids mate ... KEEP ON TRUCKING 🚚

Hi David, my personal opinion is to vlog the journey but also talk at stages. Look at stevie bloke and his wife Angie when they're used to be on the road and the legendary Ned Kelly Ireland for some useful tips. Keep up the vlogs though as good to see. Cheers Steve

Interesting - my father travelled this route in the 1940s as a POW - he was marched from North Africa to a POW camp in Poland. They put them in cattle trucks on the Italian side to rail then to Germany. The German guards threw the Italian guards in with them for the journey, needles to say the Italian guards weren’t alive when they arrived in Germany. He disappeared off the radar for about 2years before being reported in Poland - came back a different man accordingly to his family - he hated the Italians for what they did to then!! Keep on trucking - keep your pedal off the metal bit and save some cash.

Love your video's David I have been saying for a few years now that I would love to become a truck driver and travel the world but never had the confidence to go for it but watching your vlogs hearing all your tips on how to make your life easier while on the road has made it a lot easier to chase my dream so thank you David keep making your video's and hopefully see you on the road one day x

I drive Canada and the U.S, seen many beautiful cities and states, provinces, but it's not a easy job in the very least, but if you get in with the right company, it can be very rewarding. Luckily I'm with a good company and I'm home weekly. As far as the confidence goes, I'd say if your really interested, go for it, I was a trainer a couple of times, and it's amazing to see someone come into the industry, not sure if they can do this, to when they pass their road test and getting that first job.

maybe you know or maybe not,but be aware that in Italy if they catch you overtaking while overtaking ban is in place,they will keep your driving licence for about 3 months along with a hefty fine ! :D
