It's so weird. We started talking about this series coming out when I was still trying to decide whether to move to Fayetteville, WV or to Salem, VA and now I'm in Salem. I went caving when I was living in TN but the entrance was just a rabbit hole in the woods ! No stairs... but it was an amazing experience, glad you did it too !
