Driving through a blizzard in Iowa. POV. Volvo VNL 860 Globetrotter.

In this video I invite you to join me for an adventurous drive through an intense blizzard that caught me in Iowa las week. While it was more intense than the first one I've posted I was more relaxed about it. So you can be too, and enjoy the ride along with me.

My name is Vlad and I am a truck driver.
I've been doing this for 8 years and often on the road I come across beautiful places, scenic highways, mesmerizing sunsets or sunrises, rare or unusual weather conditions and other things that make me hold my breath.
For long I've been thinking of a way to share my experiences with other people and now thanks to KZbin that is possible.
I hope you will enjoy driving along with me on some of the most beautiful stretches of roads in the United States.
My videos do not have any teaching purpose so please don't take my driving style as an example, be safe and watch the road.

The VNL is really common there. Quite a few you overtook. Here in South Africa, we only have the FH, FM and the FMX. Be safe out there.

Stupid move really driving at those speeds on icy roads. The drivers you passed with flashers on at slower speeds were being safe!!!

As I've said in the video everybody has to be realistic when assessing their skill level, or otherwise they end up on the side of the road.., I would never drive in a manner that would make me feel unsafe.

@@THEBigRedTruckPOV Yes everybody has to be realistic. The realistic thing is to slow down and be safe. A lot of accidents happen even when the drivers "feel safe", otherwise there would be far less car crashes in the world.

Reliability has been good so far, the volvo iShift is pretty good, I thinkl I will make a video about my experience with the truck for 3 years.
