I can almost smell the freshly fallen leaves and the colours of the trees are spectacular. Somehow, my soul needed to see this today. Thank you for posting. Your story came up in my feed and I've watched your 3 part story so far. In short, you are truly a remarkable couple with amazing strength, grit and determination, with a love for each other that is clearly evident and bonds you together through everything life has to throw you. I wish you both the very best in this world and hope the residual pains and discomfort from the nerve and other damage you are experiencing can be minimised over time. I have my own trauma story (from not expected to last the next few hours to recovered/adjusted to a "new normal") so I know miracles can and do happen. Thank you for sharing your story. You are the first person I've came across that understands ICU delerium! I was convinced I was going mad and had to get counseling afterwards. You words are like verification and more healing to me than any counseling session has ever been in almost 11 years. Again, I thank you dearly.
