Pine Glen Campground in the Talladega National Forest, Heflin Al.

I live over the Georgia line and been here many times. This campground is perfect for off grid nomad living. When SHTF happens, this place is perfect for you preppers. That’s probably where I’ll head too. It’s right off hwy 78, which runs appalled to I+20. And I have dogs. The local town is Heflin and very rural.

It was an awesome spot to get the funk of Florida off of us and relax for a bit. Those bathrooms are terrible, freaked me out! Lol

ok let me tell you the story of BF over south of Waldo ALb friend was camping off grid at 2--3 am heard splash in creek , he hit the spot with Q beam after that they hears huge splashes -big rock being thought in Mump creek made hair stand up on back.. no joke we now call the spot big foot hill , locals look at you funny when you ask but most say yes it is

It was an awesome spot to relax for a couple days, but those bathrooms are a joke for sure. I'm thankfully I fidnt see the big dude at all, I wouldn't have known what to do for sure!
