Regarding the snippet about The Critic: I was genuinely surprised you remember that. It feels like a show that's lost to time apart from the few of us that were into 'grown up cartoons' long before they really became what they are today. Try not to stress over the wisdom teeth, I had mine removed a few months back. It was the first surgery I’ve ever had and first time I have ever been under general anesthesia. It wasn’t bad at all, just the unknown that freaked me out since I’d never had it. Just get lots of good protein shakes and other soft food…and someone to help you out on the first day they are removed, you should be good to go after that.
@littlesthobo1822 жыл бұрын
The soft food is the best suggestion and I would add room temperature to that. I wasn't back to eating normally for about 3 weeks and hot and cold temperatures really bothered me.

Good luck on the wisdom teeth surgery!! I had mine out 2 years ago, remember going to the grocery store 2 days before to get foods I’d be able to eat while I healed, it was mostly my fav puddings, yogurts, jello, and soup broths (mostly chicken and beef), plus the ice cream! I had so much ice cream from both the store and the place that did my surgery as they sent me home with my choice of cold stone ice cream (mainly just ice cream without their fancy fixings). The most annoying part after it was the swelling and numbness (I think they gave me really good pain killers as I don’t remember it being an issue for me). Swelling went down in a day, and numbness took a day and a half to go away. For me it was annoying as since I couldn’t feel my jaw, nor lips and cheeks, I couldn’t tell if my mouth was open enough to eat or drink anything which was annoying as I felt I needed to look into a mirror just to eat. After surgery slowly work back up to harder to chew foods as back there by your teeth will be slightly tender for a while when trying to eat tougher foods.
