The guy at the machine in the cotton exchange was doing what’s called “reading the tape”. Essentially it was a telegram that relayed the large buy and sell orders from market makers, so that he could tell the board man, which would update the board for the floor traders. It’s crazy how any of that was done before computers lol. Love your videos man!!! Just subbed 😁👍

The scale model of the Mississippi river was super cool! I think it was nice for it to be dry so you could see the dips.... Also shows how huge and long it actually is even though it's only to scale!

I live in Sikeston Missouri halfway between St Louis and Memphis so I've visited most of the places you visited lately. I've been a Carpetbagger fan for a year or so now. I always enjoyed talking my family to Mud Island. In the summer water flows through the outside model of the Mississippi. I always enjoyed looking at the cities on the map Also, locals pronounce Cairo different than the Egyptian city. It's pronounced k row. You have to go to the museum at Mud Island. It's very creepy. Use your ghost hunting apps inside. Was down in Tunica January 6 with the wife and basically had the casino to our selves. Try the BBQ spaghetti in Memphis sometime.
