Jaguar was my first car and I still have it sitting in the garage although it has ran for the past year. Jags have never been the same to me after 2008

The modern day car industry is just a Massive mixing pot of shared body shells and components, it’s been like that for years! There’s no real genuine car manufacturers anymore, everything is just watered down to feed the masses! That’s why I just stick to Old Ford’s and Old Mercedes, because they’re the original car manufacturers. Sadly the car industry will never be what it was! Great video thanks 😎❤️

As the proud owner of a 2004 XK8 coupe I'm so gutted to see the decline of Jaguar. Say what you like but Jags were always beautiful, and then in the era of my XK8, incredibly reliable. I've had mine for 10 years, it's now on 110k miles, always doing full throttle highway pulls and taking corners hard, and it's never let me down. Yes it has lots of maintenance costs whenever I take it for its big annual service, but but it's an expensive car with expensive parts. The trade off is that it looks great, sounds great, drives, great, and it's always ready to go and reliable. I just always assumed that Jaguar would carry on making cars that I'd want to buy, but like most of the car industry they just completely went down the drain.

I did own a Jag around 10years ago it was an X-type 2.5 V6 AWD Sport version. I sold it after 3 years … that car never let me down…. 🚗 👍🏻

I'm kinda feeling this way towards the Mercedes Benz 4.0 TT that's in everything they make now. The numbers on the boot used to mean something. I'm only buying pre 2009 Merc's Spot on video 👍 keep up the good work.

Its a little sad for such a storied brand to have fallen soo far from grace... I believe the decent started with the X-type (Ford Mondeo based) and S-type (shared w/Lincoln LS) , absolute poor quality powertrains, cheap components and build quality, I speak from personal experience w/both Jag and Lincoln ownership. It's a good thing I was always a Benz guy..

TATA own Jaguar. TATA policy is to strip the asset of its value, with minimum investment. TATA do not use cash, but borrow money. TATA is ready to throw Jaguar into the bin for someone else to buy. TATA have done the same with British Steel.

Their gas powered cars aren't selling and if they are going to go full electric they need to yolo it. I think they should have gas powered crossovers shared with land Rover. But their sedans are dead. Even Ford doesn't want to make sedans.

Nobody buys Jaguar in India , Its only the Land Rover brand which is the most sought after here also JLR is a british marque not Indian (just owned by Indians)
