This guy is actually a pretty good instructor, the simile he used comparing a weighted barbell in the palm of your hand was a great one. My high school chemistry instructor used the same comparison when talking about gases. I've watched a few videos of this guy and i come back to them when im unsure of somthing. I'd feel confident in taking my road test having this guy as my instructor, i plan on taking my practice test to enter a driver program in 2 weeks and im glad i stumbled upon this content. Great video, thank you very much! I'm actually really excited to step forward into the industry, i have several friend who drive for a living and actually love what they do.

I have an incredibly hard time learning by reading. I barely made it through grade school because of this fact. I have to do my air brake testing before I get into trucking school in my province and reading the air brake manual was like reading a book in a different language. I could study that book for a decade and not learn a thing. Thankfully these videos exist. I've learned more in the last 20 minutes watching this than I learned in the last week reading the book. Thank you.

Hi, I want to first say that your classroom information is very thorough and easily understood, at the end of this video the one student was unsure about the stopping at stops sign or light etc ... As you said in the beginning of the video, these air pods operate on a separate chamber system, and I understood what the student was saying and at that point I myself would have referred back to the beginning as the service/emergency brake system operate on two separate systems within the air pods at a stop sign or light, so maybe a student would retain that information or it would click in their mind like ok, separate chambers in the air pods as explained in the beginning it may give them a better visual in their mind and remember how the air pods are set up. My suggestion only. I drove from 1996 till 2003, no tickets or accidents. I am wanting to get my CDL-A again now, and will be calling your training school to see about what grants or financial aid i might qualify for, I'm 56, and need the refresher and updates with the trucking industry as a lot has changed since 1996..lol. I prefer spread Axle Flatbed Trucking personally. Thank you for all of your informative videos you share. P.S. Please inform the new drivers that the Commercial Company out there at the truck stops/rest areas are not Lot Lizards, they are called Sleeper Leapers as to be politically correct now. Thank you, have a nice day..!!
