"Where do you want us to go in this truck?" I would say your testing grounds in Eastern WA. is pretty bad ass. Moses Lake would be a fantastic place for this truck to open up and run the way it was meant to. No scratchy trees around ya. Perhaps Tahuya. Capital Forest has some good power line spots. Elbe Hills would be a challenge, but it has some tight, narrow trails. Seems it has really changed for more custom mades than street rigs now. Douglas Creek would be a nice drive/road trip for you. Scenic and when you get there, there are areas that would be fun to test out your articulation. Just a few ideas for local trips.

Can't wait for the Ranger Raptor vs Tacoma TRD Pro/Trailhunter videos
@jxwhit86 ай бұрын
Yeah... i saw the videos trying to compare a regular Gen4 Tacoma to Ranger Raptor. Not an apples to apples comparison. Remember... the i-force max torque is available at only 1700 RPM and sustains until 4200 rpm... which means you will actually get useful power. The Ranger Raptor doesn't tap into is peak torque until 3500 rpm. This results in a much zippier feel off the line and on the trails when you need it. It's probably true the raptor will beat the pro/trailhunter in a baja race environment, but everywhere else... I think the taco reigns supreme.

Honestly the GMC canyon AT4X interior and exterior styling look way better. The only reason I'm still waiting for my Raptor is because of the turbo V6 3.0 over the 2.7l 4 cylinder in the Canyon. I wished GMC still have the older V6 with a factory pro-charger.

I just did this in my Ranger FX4. Turns out it needs 33" tires, a lift, and better armor. Fords armor doesn't cover the brackets that hold the lower control arms. There was some pretty big off camber sections that would have made me nervous with a higher CG though. PS: Those brackets stack down and are going to take hits.

If you can get one at MSRP, this truck is such a value buy. That said, as a Ranger Tremor owner, and not being able to pay cash, it is not worth it to upgrade with rates what they are. What the Ranger Raptor wont fix is my wife wanting a larger interior, if it had that, then maybe I could justify it. I know the Honda Ridgeline is not the same class of truck, but man they have the best interior of the mid-size.
