Drizzt Do'Urden in D&D Video Games [1994 - 2020]

I know that in the movie I missed the mobile D&D Arena of War from 2013, where Drizzt appeared as Legendary Secondary Companion. However, due to the short life of the game, there are no videos on the Internet showing gameplay with Drizzt, and I can not shoot my own material, because the game is no longer available. Thank you for your understanding.

They need to be careful with how they bring him into BG3. The latest Drizzt books take place not long before Baldur's Gate 3.

@@joeyfowler1919 Yours isn't the real thing, an imposter that admires the real Drizzt. The real Drizzt is up north married to reincarnated Catti-Brie and they have a half-drow daughter now named Brielle or Brie! She is three or four years old around the time Baldur's Gate 3 is set in!

Fun Fact: Drizzt Do'Urden is the only character to be featured and playable in all three Dark Alliance games (counting the newest one). He's also the only character to appear in all four games in the original Interplay era Baldur's Gate series (Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II).

The first game "Menzoberranzan" was the first time I learned about drizzt. It was only a few years later when I discovered a book about him and how much of a saga this all is.^^

It took awhile, but years ago I managed to craft a set of Flawless Gauntlets of Speed in Dark Alliance 2, as well as fully upgrade his attack speed, and it made him so fast that most enemies were dead before they even began their attack animation, which I felt needed to be done to make him more like how he is in the books.

Really enjoyed Dark Alliance 1&2. Xbox versions. Bonus Drizzt & Artemis (if I recall correctly) play through characters.

While I would absolutely LOVE a movie that followed Drizzt, there are problems in my mind that could arise from it. I am about halfway through the entire Legend of Drizzt novel collection, and the one thing that is always driven home is just how inhuman his fighting speed is. Therefore, if a studio were to make a live-action film, how would they make his fighting look both blindingly fast (faster than an actual real person should be able to move) while still making it believable? I don't know much about editing at all, so idk what is out there. Would they be able to speed up just his arms and torso, to make him fight faster, while keeping the rest of his body looking normal? or would they simply superimpose a CGI version of him during fight scenes? Either way, I would be pretty disappointed if they just left it as a normal old human actor with normal human speed and expect us to believe he is supposed to be the legendary Drow hero and not just an actor in a costume. I am FAR too invested in this character for that nonsense 😂
