@@reloadfilth I am actually going to lowkey try and change that soon. I want to be a game dev in the distant future and see making private servers as a good learning opportunity so that there is a reason to stay online and remove treadmills from maintaining your position on the map so you have more reason to risk and push positions. Also I have an array of ideas on how to stop offline raids and roofcampers. Door campers are fair game though, build better bases... Base design is holding the game back atm... very few good builders innovating non-main structure buildings. I see a few small youtubers like @Drizzza that give me big hopes for the future of Rust though!

I’m so thankful for more building spots on the water. I love building on icebergs but the cold gets annoying and the fact that there are only a few of them makes them highly contested. Longest I ever kept an iceberg fort was 4 days on a weekly wipe server. A clan I pissed off came for me though xD. But I usually have to raid and claim one or I just get swarmed by larger clans while I’m trying to get the berg built. It will be so nice to have ocean building spots that suit smaller clans or even solos better than the bergs.

The High Calibre Pistol as a tier 2 makes sense if all the footage so far showing it alongside 5.56 ammo and it actually uses that instead of Pistol bullets. That would also partially explain the much slower fire rate, but a few Rust KZbinrs have already said it uses Pistol bullets.

You have those. Put nets all over outside your base :P Not many people use them so they have no idea how to react when they climb them. There is a shell type of defense that you use outside your base (not connected main base tc). In hexagon like shape you put down foundations and on top of those you only put stone ones (that are usualy for doors) and you fill them with nets. Chain link fences also work, but cost more overall. (since bullets can pass)

I can see radioactive water to be abused. Simply fill the bottle with radioactive water, run into enemy base and drink it. Now do this 20 times and whola ... you got a satisfactory contaminated zone :D The locker nerf is however a pvp nerf and people use lockers to block doors and if it now takes damage on pickup, enemy player has a easier time to counter when you place it down again.
