I've had a nurse tell me that my ear canals are very long and narrow, which explains why about twice a year I get total blockage and have to have them syringed. To go from barely being able to hear, to feeling like you have bionic hearing is an amazing feeling!

@@naturazpolski9213That is probably fluid buildup in your eustachian tube, which can itch or cause inflammation & discomfort. There are tricks on youtube to help get some relief by encouraging the fluid to drain.

​@@HelixBeats98just did this a couple hours ago: grab a syringe (i used a 5ml one, but it was a little bit small), then repeatedly draw warm water into it and squirt it into the ear. i started getting the best results after feeling around for a "gap" and emptying the syringe towards that "gap" witj quite some force. i'll probably redo it after using somw hydrogen peroxide or similar to prep firat, worth looking into. also use a bigger syringe, 20ml would have been just right i feel.

Its called a speculum. It allows the operator to see by holding anatomy out of the way so that they can see deeper.

When I was in the Navy and in boot camp I had to go 17 days without cleaning my ears. When I finally went to commissary to get Qtips me and my bunk mate went back to barracks to clean out our ears. It was the greatest feeling !! Felt almost orgasmic :) I can just imagine how this person feels

I use cotton buds all the time and I have done for 50 odd years. My hearing is exceptional and I have lovely clean ears. Best to use in the morning of a side sleeper or after a shower.

Once a month, I use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and warm water to clean my ears. I pour it in and wait till it stops bubbling, then let it run out. My doctor said my ears are as clean as a whistle.

I wear hearing aids so I have to get wax flushed out once or twice a year! I really love that funnel thing the doctir is using in the video. Basucally I use a cap of hydrogen peroxide to move the stubborn wax off of the skin and it makes it easier to remove the day before the removal appointment and they do a combo of water and pulling it out.

'Been there, done that' with that level of compaction. It changes your equilibrium. So that when it's removed, you're dizzy almost to the point of not being able to walk. It takes a few minutes for your body to readjust to being normal again.
