What a relief to hear from a professional Dermatologist about how to treat these various skin conditions, from the inside out! There are too many videos of amateurs messing about with severe forms of acne when they really need to be seen by a proper Dermatologist and be treated medically.I really feel bad for alot of them because i'm aware some people may not be able to afford to see a Dermatologist.

I agree with the critique. Each comedone should be treated separately and COMPLETELY emptied, sac and all. I know I'm not a doctor but I am an avid pimple popping watcher and if left only half way, the pimples and blackheads will return infected, causing your patient to have scars . Furthermore, you don't and shouldn't pierce most of those. The blackheads are already open to the surface which is the purpose of poking, am I right? You break any sac you might have and then usually leave the sac behind, causing infection thus scarring. Oftentimes the blackheads come out intact which is awesome. The poking is mostly unnecessary and just causes bleeding and it destroys the integrity of the pore. I love your channel and your interaction with your subscribers. I've wanted to say this hoping you will read it and consider what I've said, and I'm just a layperson. With respect, Barbara W.

On areas like the cheeks if stretch the skin and then pinch (very gently) the skin from underneath the pores. You would create a bit more of a solid base to push down with the extractor on. What happened to your Q-tip technique (!?) It's great you've uploaded a new vid full of blackhead extractions especially 5:15 ☺

I always appreciate the genuine, original content, especially because so much of what's on KZbin is the same old stuff recycled by a bunch of hacks trying to get followers to get ad revenue. Thanks for being original! Is it just me or does it seem like the comedone extractor doesn't really get everything out? Often, it looks like there is still stuff left in the pores. KASANA JUST A SUGGESTION BUT IF YOU CHANGE THE COLOR OF YOUR NAME WATERMARK IT WILL BE THERE SO NO ONE CAN GET AWAY WITH CALLING IT THEIRS BUT ALSO SO IT IS NOT BLOCKING THE VIEW BECOMING FRUSTRATING TRYING TO LOOK AROUND IT. If you cannot control the opacity or transparency (making it see through on different levels light or dark) You should make your name a tan color matching the color of your patients skin. Q-tips aren't strong enough for, condenced by oils creating acne, plus you can't get much out if you're that close to the filled up pore accept for the top most part of its exit. Before & after might be very difficult to impossible (unless you invite an incentive?), but comments BLOW UP, if you do!! Its great to see how THIS work seriously gives the skin respite & the inflamation has all but subsided...😁😁

To anyone who still feels the need to criticize Dr Kasana on his technique, the “incompleteness” of his extractions, his camera work, etc etc etc. I’d like to remind you all that first and foremost, Dr K is a physician who specializes in dermatology. He is not a cosmetician or an aesthetician; he has been to medical school and he is a licensed MD with additional training in diseases of the skin. When YOU graduate from medical school you will be qualified to offer technical input on his work. He has already said many times that he edits our before and after steps in order that we might see the “exciting part” which is the main pop on each lesion. If you don’t believe him and think he leaves his patients with less than excellent treatment, go find another channel to watch. As to those who complain about the other issues like lighting and camera work, a physician’s responsibility is to the patients he treats, not to an internet audience. Let’s thank him for the time he spends indulging us with these videos to enjoy and stop complaining that he doesn’t shoot for perfection with the details of video-making. Keep up the good work, Dr K! Thanks for taking the time to share this little bit of yourself with us.

Sarah Nicole Parks uuuhh, no he isn’t. He is currently going to school, he is NOT a medical Dr nor has he attended Dermatology courses other than as a esthetician. Go look at his courses and the ‘school’ he went to. They are not medically accredited institutions. He is trained in osteopathics, which is natural based healing....the body heals itself...that is NOT a medical Dr. He can not prescribe medications, osteopathics don’t do that anyways. He can’t give an injection or draw blood or order labs, all of which medical Drs do, not those in the osteopathic field as they do not believe in true medical intervention. His primary training is in esthetics. He claims to be attending Medical School, but technically he should not be using the Dr moniker as the osteopathic training is much different than the US. And as much as I enjoy seeing popping videos from him, he still is not a Dr n has mislead tens of thousands of followers as such. Enilsa n Josefa are masters in their fields, but they don’t call themselves Drs. I’m content in watching anyone who’s good enough at what they do, but don’t mislead folks into believing something not fully accurate. His awards are in Esthetics, not in the medical field, n his videos show that. Look into Medical Dr training in India and see what 1 college has that specific training, and then look at his schooling. I began to doubt him when early on folks asked about his training since some things didn’t add up. Then those questions started getting deleted or ignored...n not just a few. I can call myself Dr, doesn’t mean I am one even though my training and work has been in nursing n the medical field. Just filling in gaps n would appreciate honesty.
