I used to buy apples at Costco and I've noticed that they don't taste like apples at all. Even different brands. One day I've decided to do a rotting test. I left one apple on the counter and started looking for any visible changes. After 4 months that apple was in perfect condition and then I realized that somebody modified it and it shouldn't be consumed. We need to get back to backyard gardening. The days are long gone when we grew our own fruits and vegetables and then preserved them for the winter months in mason jars. Every house on the street had gardens back in the 50’s and 60’s. Every farmer had family garden patches and pantries full of preserves. Man seems to feel he must recreate food in supposed effort to extend shelf life and push it as a convince and has been for a long time. In reality the food has become increasingly toxic from all the processing chemicals to the point the baseline imprint of the fruit or vegetables nutritional value has been degraded to where it has been so chemically alter there is little nutrient value in them. With chemical disrupters put in all kinds of food causing all sorts of unsuspecting ailments over a life time of use. The enticing advertisement and display targeting every age group. The makers corporate conglomerate is out there competing to get your hard earned money without regards to your health and well being. The present in earlier days as convinces and in my opinion have pushed it to far. They know people are not going to stop and research the chemical composition of the products processing. They are counting on attention gimmicks to trigger the sense of being famished combined with advertising on packaging to lure you in for the grab. If it real it is one thing only as it should state on package, if you go above three ingredients they are pulling you astray. Some of the processing actually includes chemicals so you will eat more. It’s a hard call for those who wear blinders to truly see. I’ll stop here, I wish all people the best for themselves.

Regular homegrown apples can easily store for 2 months or more unrefrigerated. This is a characteristic of ALL pome fruit. Pears and crab apples also last two months or more. Grocery stores also typically put an extra wax coating (apples already have it naturally) with can add another month. This is why throwing fruit outside is considered littering. Lots of fruits do not break down quickly unless they are in a moist environment

If the coating is suppose to extend the food shelf life then obviously if you eat it then common sense should tell you you stomach will struggle to digest it and absorb whatever chemicals the coating is made of which is most likely harmful. And you will feel the effects shortly or you will definitely feel the effects over time after consuming a certain amount. And im sure the chemicals probably won't be flushed out easy if at all by the body either

This is so frustrating, if it ‘s not the foods we eat, it’s the chemicals from other products in our house like cleaning agents. Then you have those foods that you shouldn’t even ingest the first place. On top of the atmospheric chemtrails, and agents exposing us to harmful toxins! When is it going to stop. It’s getting to the point, we don’t know which is up or down in this world anymore. And we wonder why we feel sick all the time! I bought two green apples at my local Kroger store more than two months ago, never cooked them or actually bite into one of them. They have been sitting in a bowl out I the open and hasn’t even shown one spot of rotten so far. Tells me they are goin in the trash! To top that, I buy my avocados at Costco,cause Inget more and a better deal there. Keep them refrigerated just so they won’t rot to soon..come to find out, good old Costco is also doing this nasty Apeel on their fruits and vegetables too. Heard that from another person with a video warning people . And Costco’s manager over produce has failed to correspond back to this ladies inquiries of their products being sprayed with this chemical?? It’s gettin to the point we need to start buying our vegetables and fruits from the local farmers. At this point I would be at the farmers market every other day, since I buy a lot of those products. Seems to me these people need to be arrested for using unsafe mechanisms,just so they can save a dime or millions of dollars to line their pockets…and that especially includes Bill Gates. Who’s been known to stop population growth. I would like to know who appointed him god! The devil himself😡😡

@@DrLivingoodthey aren’t being labeled. I work in the CPG space. Distributors are leaving it to the retailer to label and the retailer is opting not to do it. Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Sprouts , Costco , Target - all of them organic or not are using Apeel

Wow! This is just becoming overwhelming. It is hard enough to design a diet for optimum health, but now we have to be wary of even the fruits and vegetables now. From what I've read, companies don't even have to disclose if Apeel is on your food. I've also read about some local govts. telling people they can't grow their own gardens or raise animals for food. How crazy are things going to get before Jesus returns?

Thanks for the information. My sisters don't believe about Apeel. I had red pepper in my refrigerator for 4 weeks. It was still firm and perfect. I threw it away. So what can we do. Whether apeel stated or not, I wash apples, avocados, lemons, etc with a drop of Dawn on a microfiber dishrag & tepid water. Maybe it doesn't remove ALL of it, but the skin certainly feels much cleaner afterward. That gunky feeling is removed. I'm calling that a reasonable compromise. No doubt we all are full of PFAS anyway. Pray before eating.

We need to locate where to get produce from local farms/stock up by canning, etc. If possible, plant fruit trees and home gardens. No other way. Also, source meat from local ranchers and find sources local chickens for eggs.

Not all items are being treated with this. I'd recommend looking at the list of products it's used on to see which ones you purchase most often so you can focus your attention where needed. For me it's apples. I will be watching them closely.

Although I don't know if the list of items that are coated in Apeel has increased but this stuff isn't on every fruit and vegetable. The website listed Cucumbers, apples, avocados and citrus as having the coating. Not potatoes, peaches, plantains etc. I think you can tell by looking at the ingredients list they have to put on foods that have more than one ingredient. Most fruits and vegetables will only be one ingredient so if you see an ingredient list you can perhaps deduce that it has apeel on it.

Both Walmart & Sprouts sell Organic Citrus coated in wax. Non wax coated Citrus can be found by checking the sticker usually from Costa Rica, Peru, or Mexico ( non organic is okay ) since those countries do not use pesticides the way US does. Basically buy non organic from out of US & if buying US go organic & check for the wax disclaimer on the bag 👍🏼🌎💚

There is an international patent on organic liposomes.. Gates doesnt have rights to it so he has to use synthetic liposomes. Any liposomes with sugar or alcohol in is highly dangerous and causes aggressive cancer, especially in the brain as it crosses the blood brain barrier when eaten. Apeel is made for citrus which citrus is not cooked so the liposomes will remain fresh in the juice of the citrus. Another thing is you dealing with nano.. only very few nano labs can look to see what other ingredients are really in those liposomes. Until a nano lab deems it as safe i wouldnt touch it.

I half buried one of these apples in my Vermiculture bin and the worms went in through the top ate the inside out and left the skin. It took like a month + to show any signs of decay before I partially buried it. It was sitting in garden soil full of composting helpers (spring tails, isopods, etc) Loads of beneficial bacteria and Mycelium and the like. I would skip on these.

I saw a website that said to remove Apeel from a food, to use vinegar (it didn't say what kind) or baking soda, but not together. It is possible to explore whether an enzyme food safe product would also work. There are organic vegetable and fruit washes, but I don't know if they would work on Apeel or not. It would be beneficial to ask the companies of these produce washes if it will dissolve Apeel. Meanwhile peel any produce you think has been coated with it, and buy produce from smaller, non-chain stores or local stores that source from local farmers. Find a list of produce items that use Apeel so you know where to identify possible problems.

Plastic wrap does NOT keep produce fresher longer. It makes it rot faster. The first thing I do is take the plastic wrap OFF my fresh produce. If it is in a sealed bag, I OPEN the bag before putting it away. I have trays to put loose things in, such as cut up broccoli. I use BLUE APPLES. it's a thing that absorbs the gases being offed by the produce. It is sold in organic stores or I'm sure you can get it online. I've been using it successfully for YEARS Also there are online lists of what foods spoil first and I shop for produce twice a week and plan my meals. I RARELY toss out any produce. Please whatever this coating is you DON'T NEED IT.
