I hate the way that guy talks. I can't fully explain it. Sometimes you meet someone who hasn't necessarily done anything *wrong,* but they just make you grins your teeth in irritation. Emgo is one of those for me. And among other things, I think terms like "bloosh effects" just sound stupid

It all comes down to the gimmick itself for me. The dimensions can more than pull off the proportions if it didn’t have to be hollow. But I have recently accepted a personal concept Wheeljack being a bit chubby and out of shape being in a lab so much. So being able to haul half a junkyard back home is a fun play factor on its own.

I agree with PerspectiveEnd on the matter of separation of objectivity and opinion. There ARE some elements of any figure that can be judged objectively as to quality. Not EVERYTHING is subjective. And I think being able to tell the difference and parse one's own opinion from objective measures of quality is one of the big things that make a reviewer good at reviewing. Because regardless of if I agree or disagree, I'm getting the information I need in a clear manner.

I really enjoyed this video! Seeing two very different content creators that I enjoy with their very different views on how to review a figure discussing the same figure was super intriguing to see! And damn this video was funny as hell! If I time stamped every funny moment in this video I’s increase this comment’s size by 3 times. You should do this more often! But in all seriousness this is genuinely the best transformers review i have ever watched First off Lockdown, PE, and that toy guy (also thew but hes like that uncle that pops in once a few months) are my favorite channels but i find it hilarious because i swear NONE OF THEM AGREE ON A FIGURE. But also with classic PE and Lockdown they’re able to not just talk about wheeljack here. It’s the messaging they always share of objectivity vs subjectivity. This is easily one of my favorite videos of yours. I love the dichotomy of your opposing views on the figure. Specifically, the point in which your guys were talking about how your personal opinion can differ from what you understand is the nature of the figure that may influence how other people feel about it. In my case, the example of a figure I love that I know many hate is rotf voyager mixmaster. Personally, I find the figure endlessly entertaining and awesome to transform in a way where the parts dance around to me. But that being said, I'm not blind to the fact that many find transforming it to be annoying to even painful.

I really like Origins Wheeljack and really want him! He looks really good and well-done! Everything's on-point, apart from the extra bulkiness, which is just a fact of the design and not even a real negative of the toy/design. It doesn't bother me much at all. I don't have Origins Bee, but its really cool that he could fit inside Wheeljack's altmode.

Additional notes after watching the video: 1: I agree with Lockdown 100% on LGY Bee. Hes perfect and I want him and Optimus (got Prowl now! :b) 2: I literally see absolutely nothing wrong with the panel lining. Like, really? Whats the issue? I see none. I guess theres something...? I guess it could've been better, but really? Its practically nothing. 3: I see absolutely nothing wrong with the alt-mode shaping. Is it accurate? Yea, for the most part. Is that completely fine? Yes. It doesn't need to be more accurate. 4: I agree with PerspectiveEnd on this one. Origins Jack's head and chest are superior to ER's. Why change it to better fit YOUR (Dr. Lockdown) preferences, specifically? Besides, hes supposed to be as accurate to what we saw in G1's pilot episodes as possible. If he doesn't do that, then whats the point? Hes not a Siege figure, who takes inspiration and uses the original designs as a base but updates and modernizes it. Also, Its physically impossible for Hasbro to make a toy from your personal preferences, for only you. Theres an objective and subjective element to every figure. A figure can be objectivly perfect, but subjectively bad. A figure can be absolutely perfect, but you specifically (someone) are not a fan. And vise-versa. A figure can be objectively trash, but you specifically can't stop loving it cuz it has a charm to you, or you have nostalgia for it, or whatever. (Edit:) Or a figure can be objectively and subjectively good, or objectively and subjectively bad.
