I have subclinical hypothyroidism. Is it ok to take coq10 for my fertility (I am 41) and if so how much and how often?! Thank you very much doc❤❤
@jessicadadashov73668 күн бұрын
I am a thyroid cancer survivor with a full thyroidectomy in 2014. My endocrinologist upped my Synthroid when I mentioned trying to conceive. If you have insufficient thyroid hormone levels, conception is going to be more difficult and complications can become more prevalent. Like any supplements, be sure to time them at least 2-4 hours after your morning t4 pill. CoQ10 and DHEA are perfectly safe to take.

Informative....My wife is taking CoQ10 200mg last 3-4 months. She is 37yrs now, experienced 3 times miscarriages. Her AMH level was 0.28 ng/mL 3months ago before taking CoQ10 but now it is 0.03 ng/mL. She has tyroid but under control. She has diabetes and was controlled....Suddenly HBA1C level increases to 7.4 but it was 6.4~6.6. Is this the only reason for the AMH level dropping more within months? We are planning for a baby
@LynnetKarambu3 ай бұрын
Omg, this is my exact story. Did you get more information
@emilyb55572 ай бұрын
That level of change in amh is probably not significant - the test won't give an absolutely precise exact same number if you tested each day for a week. Same as we see for something like haemoglobin. So I wouldn't read that as a decrease.
@nehadahmed87662 ай бұрын
Hmm. You are right, my wife tested the AMH again after 2 months, this time it's back the earlier stage 0.27 She is continuing to take CoQ10 200. But diabetes will be a factor, I mean if uncontrolled
