Since then I've been interested in the things other people pass over as so much rubbish. Yes as best as I can ..mask and social distancing... they say this is the new normal but was anything really normal before this new normal LOL did you know in 1918 it was the second waves that killed most of the people.. the Carson troops came back and nobody knew anything about social distancing. Up here in Canada Saskatchewan is one of the lowest provinces in Canada God has the least amount of covid-19. This a lot of farmland and people are so busy working out in the farm and don't get much time to go see the city life. It seems the senior homes and Lawn Care facilities are getting hit pretty hard. I'm one of those tail and baby boomers. I try to keep healthy do a little bit of walking everyday and make sure I don't eat too many sweets LOL because I don't want anybody wiping my butt when I'm a b 80. When I may be I hope I'm dancing up a storm. Well by the time I maybe the worlds will be changed. Have a good day and keep those videos rolling in your knowledge is amazing. You can tell you know what you're doing and I got a few other things I need to get appraised again. By the way I didn't know ho valuable Fire King glassware can be I had the whole set after my mom died didn't think anything of it just got rid of it the things we do when we're young. Have a wonderful day Wherever You Are I live in British Columbia Canada and love the fresh air in the mountains take care of my friend be good and keep out of trouble. Can Italian women do that LOL

You need whole milk to absorb the calcium. Never feel bad about using whole milk. I put half and half on my cereal and it's yummy.

I have an old small bottle my grandpa brought home from Greece. His dad and brothers would deep sea dive and I think this bottle was from an old ship wreck from the 18th century. The reason I think this is because he also brought a pitcher home with shells adhered to it. There was a picture in our home town newspaper with his picture holding the pitcher and a story about him going home to Greece to visit his mom and family etc. He hadn’t seen her for 41 years when he had come to the US by himself at the age of I think 14 years old. I think I was around 3 years old. Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I wanted to ask you where I should take it to get it appraised. Thanks. Be safe and God bless.

Hi there...my first time watching you. Of course subscribed. I was surprised that you didnt go into the history of Uranium glass, with the Kellogs green measuring cup. I only, a few years ago, discovered that this common green depression glass contained uranium and glows under a black light. I now have many pieces and display them with a black light. I understand they quit making this glass, because the uranium was needed for the war effort. Do you know anymore about this beautiful glass?

Dr. Lori, I am with you on the skim milk. I have found I can drink 2% and it doesn't taste like skim. When I was a kid, sometimes when the whole milk wasn't so cold, my mother put ice cubes in it. I figured years later when I tried skim milk, that ice cubes tasted pretty much the same. I will never have any ice cubes in any milk at my house. Years ago, they interviewed Joan Collins. She said that she drinks regular sodas and not diet. Her reason? She had never seen anyone skinny drink diet soda, and so she went with the regular, lol! I love that someone found the Roman glass. What a miracle that it survived all that time. The $1,000 price tag was a surprise, but what a miracle that piece of glass is, and how wonderful that you know what it is. I have a very heavy punch bowl that is similar to the punch bowl you appraised, but I don't know if it's real crystal. Like I've heard you say, the punch bowls have fallen out of favor. It's okay if the one you appraised sits around looking pretty anyway. Punch bowls are so under-valued right now.I belong to a glass group on Facebook, and people seem to avoid buying the punch bowls. I know I'm going to come ot one of your shows. I just haven't decided what to bring with me yet. I am still planning on a painting that I have. It will be a teaching moment when that time comes.

Yes ma'am I have a choir about 75 or 80 antique medicine bottles perfume bottles oil bottles I've got cobalt blue Amber green clear like a white color think they're cream bottles I all different sizes from tiny to relatively good size all different shapes I've even got one with the little dropper on it I don't know what to do with them if you could please give me a idea of how I can get rid of them and be awesome thank you.

I’m ready to let go of many of them but even if I learn a valuation for a given piece, I have no idea where to try to sell it. Not sure who’s buying vintage and antique pieces these days. Anyone?

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa, Our lives have all been shattered by COVID.. Unfortunately our COUNTRY is. 4 th world.... having used to be 1st world in ie Medical/ schooling etc..., Only the wealthy are surviving financially.which I am not, of the latter. We are too old to leave, coz the exchange RATE to to Dollar is about twenty 20 to The Rand..... I hope to continue seeing many more of your teaching shows... Take Care and God Bless you! Jenny( . Aaaaah, Thank you so much for reply.. I will definitely look this up... I’m absolutely crazy about Antiques and anything Vintage... I’m a RN, So a very Special message to you to take Special Care of your health. Check your Vita D levels are 💯 Normal with a Blood test... Very NB... and take the prescribed amount. It can help save your life. And take Vitamin K2 as well. But Caution if you on Blood thinners... check with Physcian.. The K2 has also done above... God Bless you. Jenny
