what happens if the volt output from the charger exceeds 30v to say 40v? will it damage the volt meter? Also another question - how do we connect these to the battery being tested? Sorry for asking basic questions - I am totally new to these topics.

7usd is 560inr there is a better option for 2usd 140inr voltmeter along with a ammeter

can the white wire go either on the Pos or Neg to measure voltage ??

+integra i was able to--basically black=ground, red= positive, white measured positive voltage--but be aware of the voltage range exposed to the white wire.
