Are you guys using a mixture of training munitions and blanks here? How'd you simulate the explosions so well, but also safely? With fake blood and all that seemingly released as part of the exercise, how could you guys tell when genuine injuries occured? This looks FUCKING awesome by the way, I just have so many questions about how you did it.

Its pyrotechnic charges stuck to the walls and around the doorways stringed up in a series to go off one after the other. If you look at Escape from Tarkovs, Raid series behind the scenes you can see something similar and more smaller scaled.

​@@L33T_TacoNot only that. The things they want to destroy (like parts of a wall), they recreate with a save material, so in theory you don't even need eye protection when you are standing next to the explosion. But ear pro is highly recommended 🤙

@@s.a.r.o.c you 100 % need eye protection..... the pyrotechnic charges have fragments of metal that create the bright flashes aswell as papaer/cartboard.unburned powder particles and ofcourse pieces of the material being exploded... im happy you arent a safety instructor for these courses :)

Als ehemaliger Soldat muss ich zugeben, solche Möglichkeiten und Effekte hätte ich mir seiner Zeit auch gewünscht. Sehr geil vom Thema. Doch die Einheit in dem Szenario, wäre ziemlich aufgerieben worden, wäre das real gewesen. Wir im Westen haben keine Ahnung von Orts-und Häuserkampf wie er in der Ukraine geführt wird. Den Unsinn den wir gelernt haben, wird jede Menge Soldaten das Leben kosten.

They need training like this at Ft Benning GA for the new 11X recruits. Our training was nothing like this. They need this for TRADOC so there's less need for so many FTXs so that the entry level infantryman will have higher skill level experience.

Учитывая что там пулемётчик за двадцать метров стреляет через щель в бетонной стене, гранатами он бы не очень впечатлился. В худшем случае прекратил бы огонь и кто-то наполучал бы дырок при попытке зайти. Пулемёт без холостых, кстати ещё и очень быстро покрошил бы кирпичные стены за которыми они прятались, так что рядом с проёмом тоже стоять бы никто не стал. Я практически уверен, что если бы не сценарий, мужики бы уже пытались выломать решётки на окнах, а им бы оттуда гранаты кидали.

Danke dir! 😊 Es ist komplexer als es aussieht, weil sehr viele Details beachtet werden müssen damit es sicher ist. Wir werden hier natürlich nicht mehr ins Detail gehen und auch ein BTS wird es nicht geben, da das Risiko zu groß ist, dass Leute - ohne die umfangreiche jahrelange Erfahrung in verschiedenen Bereichen - auf die Idee kommen könnten so etwas selbst zu versuchen. Das wäre extrem gefährlich und wer Unfälle produziert macht es allen schwerer..

Of course, we had a mine field😌. We even had a simulated CAS during a silent night recce. At 05:54 you see someone stepping on one releasing 5L of fakebl. through his shredded pants.. minutes after we had OPFOR searching the area with technical Pickup, mounted PKM, and searchlight. Everyone had to dug in while CASEVAC.. it was very intense. Unfortunately, there is only this NVG video of that moment..

I believe the original poster thinks this is 3 Para of the British Army. It is harder to distinguish between nationalities due to the wide spread adoption of MTP uniforms. The TRF's and IWS give it away though.
