The Western Convoy was unable to make it all the way into downtown Ottawa. This clip shows a grader and snow plow along with police blocking the route.
Many protestors walked the 2.5 kilometres to welcome the arrival of the convoy.

That's awful that they were blocked from entering the city. I knew there had to be more. We cheered them through on an overpass near arnprior on Saturday and there were way more trucks on just that stretch than the ones I see downtown. Plus the Arnprior route was only one of many that the truckers came from. What a travesty that these people drove so far and put their lives on hold and then weren't allowed in to participate.

So Happy to see Canadians finally standing up for their rights. For God Sake, Canada is a developed country, and now since Covid, it looks like a communist country, I married the love of my life, and he is Canadian. We went there as he can be here in the USA for more than 6 months, and I can't be there for more than 6 months. Those 5 months we stayed there during covid from April 2021 to Sept was the worse time in my life. Never before will I take for granted what FREEDOM means once I come back to the USA and the officer at the border welcome me to USA WELCOME HOME AND WELCOME TO FREEDOM. I KNOW NOW what FREEDOM means; CANADA has SO, BUT SO MANY GREAT PEOPLE GREAT MINDS, and I can believe they let it go this far. I am in tears looking at this Truck protest. It is AWESOME that people finally stand up for their right to choose and decide if they want to be vaccinated or not. GO Truck drivers, and GOD Bless all those fighting for their rights!!
