I'm a PLS and am interested in the ability to perform photogrammetry with a Drone! But don't you have to take into account grid overlap, flying height, & desired scale?? I've noticed the dire necessity of setting of flight panels and the subsequent determination of X,Y, & Z coordinates. Also for use of GPS RTK would you not also require a base station? But it all sounds so easy!!! A Surveyors Dream Come True!!!

Another question, The Mavik 3 Enterprise, I thought I saw a video on the dji website that the drone can be set to follow along a slope at a prescribe elevation above such slope. Is that correct or a dream?? That is an awesome function!!!

Does the course include the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) Are there similar licenses needed if you want to do this type of career internationally? Any way to adapt Lidar technology with this business?

As crazy as it sounds, this might be the first course I ever purchase and I hate buying courses cause I feel that I can get all the info online. But then again, havent you guys already gotten all the contracts and clients in America? lol do you really think there are tons of clients out there that need this service?

Believe it or not, there is still so much work out there and not many qualified drone pilots to get the work done. I certainly can’t get it all done myself nor do I want to. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@Khozeee Same here. I invested in an Air 2S just for photogrammetry. Not super happy of the outcome from Dronedeploy to be honest. Should I save up for and Mavic 3E of should I go for this course to maybe learn some tips and trix? But $549...? I'm torn apart. Little to steep for me.

It’s cheaper than learning the hard way that I did haha. I’ve spent far more than $500-$700 in learning photogrammetry

@@DylanGorman the class looks in depth. Didn’t see any info on DJI Terra though. I’m still considering. I’ve already gone through the Pilot Institute’s. Just wondering how different this course would be. 🤔
