Hey nozty and thanks for contacting us! The new WingtraOne GEN II bundle comes without an RC. In fact, it's so easy to fly the drone on a tablet, that you don't need it at all. And you wouldn't be able to use it with your existing one. Hope that helps!

Main problem (amongst many) with tail sitters is that you can't aim the main sensor downwards during hover mode! Plus, the inherent drag profile in hover mode (especially for a bicopter) is so large that you have to wait for extremely calm days before you can fly. Quadplanes or tiltrotors are miles better!

Hi nikanand1203, Wind is indeed a problem for tiltrotors in hover (although quadplanes and tiltrotors also have similar issues in hover), which is why we spent quite some time researching the fixes. You can check out some old results here from our flights in 2016. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4WmfGR9hKZ1Y7c Aiming sensor downwards during hover isn't a major requirement for WingtraOne's application since we do large scale surveying (e.g. mines), where nadir imagery combined with oblique imagery from high roll moment already provides enough information for 3D modelling and volumetric measurements. With fewer moving parts, the WingtraOne can then afford to carry more powerful camera payloads which is most important for surveying applications. Hope this provides you with some clarity. Fist point is right, but your second point is wrong. Tailsitter take less power to hover in wind then without wind. See my testflight in my Channel.

...i cant imaging one single flight without malfunction because of overcomplication...and why fly outdoor in nature when cheaper and safe to fly indoor sitting in front of a pc and a simulator app with a drink on the side...
