Saw the saints play in 05 at the Alamodome in San Antonio due to Katrina. I was a kid back then and fell in love with the Saints. I cant wait for this dec when I go see them play again. This time in the superdome!

This gave me goosebumps and and left me teary eyed. Born and raised in the New Orleans/Metry area. I went to Celine Dione concert, hunchback of notredam, hootie n the blowfish, car shows, monster trucks, the winn dixie showdown, college basketball, cubs game, rodeo, home n garden show, sugar boel, tulane game, and of course saints games until i left for the navy. I havent been back there since probably before katrina but have followed the saints and upgrades since then closely. I'm beyond amazed and how excellent this is and man i cant even say how awesome it is. A job well done👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Shout out to Chris Guidry class of 05 BMHS

Grandfather OG season tickets holders @ Tulane. Father, myself I'm 58 have carried on. My first game 1974 in Tulane. Saints and Theisman with Redskins rookie year. Last year at 91 my dad and I were in Virginia and were in a restaurant when Joe walked , greeting everyone. I sat in our booth. Told him about seeing him back then at my first game. Took a photo with dad. Very gracious and damn he looked as young as me. The comeback game after Katrina was crazy. But the EMOTION of the field goal against Minnesota to put us in the SHOW..... was mind blowing. I was there to rep like always. My grandfather from 1967 to 82 only saw losing seasons but made every game. The tears of every fan in that stadium after Katrina and the super bowl kick will always be deep. The love, unity and happiness among strangers was like heaven.

I was in New Orleans just before they opened for the first season. It was in the finishing phase of construction. I asked someone on site it they were doing tours. I was told they didn’t start until the next week but that I could slip in and look around. If I was seen, I would be told to leave. However, no charges would be filed. So, I went in and looked around. Once I finished, I decided to sit in the stands in plain sight to see how long before I was evicted. 😁😁😁. I sat there for a few minutes before a security guard saw me and asked for my credentials. Since I didn’t have any, I was told that I would have to leave.

Beautiful but I CANNOT believe the multi colored seats from the 80s are still in there. Almost a Billion dollars since Katrina and the seats still remained?? How and why?? The purpose was always to enhance the fan experience but I think the place fans spend most of their time (their seats) was completely overlooked. There’s no reason those seats shouldn’t have been replaced with black and gold leather w/ cup holders. Who was the project manager? Good grief.
