Drone views; Norborne Ray-Carroll elevators; CP, NS, CSX team up on grainer; shortest Z train ever

Lots of early spring activity at the elevators in Norborne, MO as a westbound Norfolk Southern manifest with a great sounding horn speeds by. Twenty track miles to the west caught a Canadian Pacific engine in it's classic beaver red color scheme teamed up with a NS engine as they pass through the "high-wide" defect detector with some CSX power pushing on the tail end. Last catch is of an another westbounder, a Z train with only 48 axles, by far the shortest Z I've ever seen.

Man...I've got the funds set aside, just can't make myself pull the trigger. I saw in the FAA reauthorization act the FAA has to come up with BVLOS rules by September 2025, if it looks like they MIGHT do away with the LOS rule, I think I might have to...

Yep, hadn't been there in a while. I think they've probably torn down four or five in the last couple of years, sad to see them go. One of my favs that is no longer there was the dark brink elevator, the brick gave it a complexly unique look👊. Thanks for watching and I hope this one didn't make you dizzy😉

@edfoulks8047 That elevator you described was the one I was thinking of. I've got several old DVDs about the SF/BNSF transcon, and they always liked to photograph that specific elevator when they were in Norborne, MO.
