Yours is the BEST video on this quad. Beginners need as much info as possible and most assume you know what they know and they end up being half -assed! I have seen a video or two by brothers who operate a hobby shop. They don't answer my KZbin comment questions nor emails to their store!! I guess they don't want my business. I already have goggles, but don't have anything other than an old DX6i transmitter. If I want a transmitter to fly this with, I finally discovered that stock transmitter is $40. I was wondering what other one would work, so, thanks for including that. One thing that helps a beginner flying at a distance is an LED on the front to indicate orientation for line of sight. That would be a nice add-on they could give us. Thanks again.

I started off with EMax Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle RTF kit, and it's all you need to get up and running, and most important, LEARNING. I've since passed the EMax Controller and goggles off to my son (bound to a Tinyhawk 2 S I got for dirtcheap), but my TH2F will stay with me for life. I've since did a couple upgrades to it (XT30, Different Props) and still fly it at home with my Radiomaster TX16, and Fatshark Scout Goggles (low profile box goggle with Diversity & DVR). I Also now have an EMAX Hawk Pro (4S,5S,6S), and EMAX Buzz (4S,5S,6S).

I just got this quad, fyi, the charger uses solid green light to show that it's charging - not that it is finished charging. I haven't finished charging a battery pack yet but I'm pretty sure it goes out when it finishes.

If this question is a duplicate I do apologize, I missed it then. Does anyone know if this transmitter can be used with other quads? It would need a recievers to accompany it I assume. Does anyone know is this is possible? And same for the FPV? It would require a compatible VTX receiver. Is this possible? LIke a future upgrade to a different quad?

Thanks for the nice thorough review. I'm thinking about getting a beginner FPV drone for fun. I don't car about racing them. I only have toy grade drones I like to zip around in front of the house or better yet at a local soccer field. I was also thinking about the Eachine E013 but this looks better. I like that the screen distance is adjustable. I'm near sighted and can take off my glasses for FPV. But I did see a few bad 1 star reviews at Amazon where people had problems with it. One guy had motors burning out (otherwise he liked it) and another guy had problems controlling and trimming it. Another said the googles are a bit small for adults. So I'm hesitant.

This will be next on my bucket list 66 years young, raced r/c cars in the late 80's early 90's I attached an FPV camera on my r/c car now I want to take it up a notch. My question to you is "will this setup bind to my ECHINE EV800D goggles so I can record my flights". I plan on buying the EMAX TINYHAWK RTF kit to get started but you can't record, and since I already have the EV800D goggles it would be nice if they would work also. You're video's are very informative for helping old dogs like me, thanks very much appreciated.

I think this e-max tiny hawk is perfect for me, but I think I haven’t got too much chance to win this drone, because there is so many people who want this, too. Wow I didn't know TX was so close in size to X-Lite, that makes both the TX and the case more attractive since it can be reused if you upgrade the TX to X-Lite. Actually the case looks like it could even fit a regular Taranis if you removed that foam, did you try that?

@WhiteDean455 жыл бұрын
Frsky is the protocol or ban I believe. How your controller talks to the drone. Some drones will be Frsky and should work with your remote. But you still may need beta flight. The hobby is far more complicated than I thought. That's why I'm looking a RTF. GOOGLE what drone will work with min hawk control, I'm sure someone has answers. But if you plan to have multiple drones you need a multi ban controller and need to learn to use beta flight. And if you're not big on computers like myself, it seems to be very hard.
