I’ve been flying the TinyHawk for about a month now and I absolutely love this little quad. It’s just the thing when you feel like zooming the back yard. And it’s so simple to use; you just throw a 1S on it and you’re ready to rock ‘n roll. I just ordered this full setup for my nephew. He wants to get into FPV, but like so many young people, it’s tough for him to put together the money for a 5”, battery packs, transmitter, and goggles. This takes all the guesswork out of the equation for a beginner and lets them concentrate on flying. Great review and flight footage. Thanks, Stew. BTW, GNB has 1S, 600 mah batteries that are a perfect fit for this little quad. I bought some and I’m getting 4-5 minutes of flight time. Great batteries!

Awsome channel!!! My son gave me a DJI Tello for Christmas. I really like it but it doesn't perform like the Tinyhawk. My son and I watched the 99.00 drone video, and he bought the professional version. We had a great time putting it together (great tutorial). He is really looking forward to taking it out and flying it. We live in Pittsburgh Pa where it is bone chilling cold (Bummer). This type of drone would be great to fly in the house when outdoor conditions are harsh, Again loved the video and look forward to your next one.

@@nonenone6425 funniest little quad ever, it used to build, crash, repair., and repeat. With the tiny hawk, Its just fly, crash, and repeat. The camera dislodged in a hard smack, but you don't have to disassemble it to put it back in place. Best way to explain is to watch Nick Burns videos, he has one showing how to do this, other than that you should get 1 set of props( they don't break, but they pop off, and their easy to lose), and you'll need a spare frame soon if you fly as much as I have ripped this little quad, but for the price I've found nothing to match the fun I've had . also I don't have an inside place to fly, it does ok up to about 5 to 6 mile an hour winds.

george macias - FAA in the US is very strict, and pretty much want to destroy the hobby, so most likely, the laws apply to even this size of drone. You could probably get away with it, but if you take it to a park, chances are eventually you would meet a person that thinks drones are evil, and reports you after asking for your license and you don’t have it.

How well would this work as a jumping off point for a bigger drone, ie using these goggles and/or radio with a 5" quad or fixed wing? I'm pretty sure I want to get into the hobby but it's hard justifying the expense of the good stuff all at once, and I don't want to get cheap stuff that I'll outgrow almost immediately. If this will give me some room to grow before getting into a "real" kit it sounds like a great purchase. I built my first quad because of UAV Futures, and that was the best thing that could have happened for me. The tiny hawk is incredibly tough, I've smacked rock walls at full speed so many times I was sure it would be trashed, but it's still kicking. I'm missing all but 2 braces on 3 motors.and 3 on 1 motor. The absolute best way to get started, I've worn out my first 15 batteries with 1000"s of flights. I literally flew for 10 hours with a few breaks the first day I received it. E max nailed this better than all the others combined, at least for a beginner 1s quad, but its fun for any level pilot imo.

This would be my only potiental (if it cant rebind with orginal remote) problem of the rtf version. Reason- Me and my friend (cant afford this hobby) have t8sg plus and whole bunch of brushed quads. Only 1 fpv starter kit we have is left overs from the rtf inductrix fpv (- that qaud, what what a piece of crap that was). We would like nice rtf version ( like the one you just reviewed -with a nice quad, the box googles, rtf remote.)
