Good video, gone try it my self. (nice beach and all your footsteps.. :-) ) Question: Is "Quick shots -> Circle" a bit the same as "point of interrest"? seems they both circle around you. Does this drone searches the opbect to point to with video image recognision? (I have another drone aswell, which used the GPS coordinates of the remote controll 3th: did I miss the track feature with wakepoints? That you can draw a track on the map picture.

@Alluvian5675 жыл бұрын
What I undertand for the tap and fly is the usefulness is that once you tell it to fly somewhere, you can still yaw and tilt to get a nice airborne dolly look which would be quite hard otherwise. But whether you actually want or need that is going to be very personal. I really like cinematic mode because if I am going straight and want to turn it is almost impossible to make that look smooth without some digital smoothing after the fact which I don't have the software for. Once I am turning you can keep it smooth with fine yaw inputs but going from the center stick deadzone to any kind of yaw move is always a little jerky unless you are in tripod or cinematic.

@DroneSupremacy6 жыл бұрын
Hey there :) You simply need to tap on the mode again to enter the settings for that particular mode - on some modes you can tweak the distance, on others you can play with the rotation (clockwise/anti-clockwise), as well as the speed. let me know if you need some help with that!

@DroneSupremacy Жыл бұрын
The air is pretty old by todays standards, whereas the Mini 2 SE is newer but it’s the cheapest model dji offers. I'd personally advise you to look into Mini3/Mini3 pro as they're the best bang for buck drones right now

@@DroneSupremacy Thanks for the advice. I went on getting the mini 3 pro, as it will be my first time, I believe an added obstacle avoidance will help. Hi again Mike.. is there a way to adjust the flight angle in dronie mode? eg- steeper or less steep angle shot? cheers Mike.
@RGedack6 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike, thanks for the video. Just one remark. You mentioned but otherwise completely ignored the advantages of the new 3 additional modes of the tap fly mode. Especially the "free" mode is the follow up of the former course lock. It allows you to fly one direction (in a stable and straight line, if you wish!) without having to control the forward stick (just set the speed slider) and you can then steer your camera which direction you want - without losing the chosen direction of the drone course.
@DroneSupremacy6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this remark - I actually believe I had to go deeper and talk about those modes as well, but I have to test them a bit further so I can be helpful with that. Other than that, I've seen a couple of clips and it actually seems quite handy, more than I initially thought. So really, thanks for the heads up and I'll update on that when possible!

I agree, I think you should spend more time with the flight features you didn't like and maybe you'll find that with experience you may change your mind. But this was a great overview.
@HugoAguilera6 жыл бұрын
That's really cool that Active Track allows you to fly the drone at the same time. Makes sense, since it's the camera that's controlling the subject and controlling the position via the gimbal, which has a lot of positional freedom. Thanks a ton for the info!

Or can you tap around f eksampel a building and be outside the video myself. I wil use this for estate companies and I do not wish to appear in the video.
@DroneSupremacy6 жыл бұрын
Hey Morten, you can use a building as "the object" of your asteroid shot with no problem, you don't have to be in the shot yourself. As long as the drone can "detect" the object you want to film (if it fits in the frame), it should be all good!

@grumpyvlogger6 жыл бұрын
Drone Supremacy , the difference I find is the Air is a lot more stable, the video if fantastic with the third axis. Plus there was a bit more wind yesterday and I would not have flown the Spark in it simply because it would have been blown around quite a bit more. Also the obstacle avoidance is fantastic. It goes around things rather than just stopping.

Nice video!!! Thanks for sharing! One question, how is the wifi connection from 0 to 500m distance? Is the video feed always smooth on the cntroller+mobile on this distances range? As I would only fly it in this range (0 to 500m) I would like the video feed to be very stable and smooth and I have seen many cmplaints about the wifi range (and doubt if buying it or not...). Thanks again.
@DroneSupremacy6 жыл бұрын
Hey Marcos! So far the signal has been rock solid for me, especially within that distance. I think it's safe to say the Air performs great at that range, as long as you don't shoot in areas that are super wi-fi dense. So my advice would be to go ahead and pull the trigger, you won't have any problems with the range!

Question: Does the Mavic Air use an ACTIVE HOMEPOINT? - If you have if follow you on a bike for instance... do you have to manually land it where you are? If it decides to "go home" because of an error is it going back to its starting point, or will it come to the controller. I know this works for the PRO... but do you know if it Active Homepoint works with the AIR - THANKS!
