That was nice of you to put this video out, but most of us out here on KZbin do this for fun and not for mapping, etc. Maybe you could do a video in the future about NDAA compliant drones under $5,000.00? I get that you aren't doing this for the views, but these alternatives that you listed are out of of normal people's price bracket. Maybe folks should just stock up on DJI drones while they can in the next year and run them for as long as they can would be the most likely solution?

blue list drones( which are american made drones) are required for specific locations in the United States because of classification of air space these are really only used in commercial inspection drones so if your on this video this is for enterprise drones specifically

Hi, I am an Aussie, and in 2019 I was given a Parrot ANAFI, and I enjoyed flying it. I added 2 extra batteries to my kit, so I was convinced I was onto a great platform. Fast forward to today, and my ANAFI will not start. Is there something like a CMOS battery in a computer which has died. I have looked after the batteries and they all charge up and hold charge. Australia no longer has a commercial stake in Australia, it seems that everything is DJI. I have no contact for Parrot, in Australia, and so I am left with seeking assistance from the USA, I know that Parrot has strong support in the US Military. I someone would be prepared to have a zoom session with me I would be really grateful. Or a circuit diagram may help. Many thanks Andrew Greig

And can you do a video about the American drones where most of us live? The 800 to 5000 dollar mark

If I buy a DJI now for commercial use, will I not be able to use it?
@EMDRONES29 күн бұрын
Nope there’s no work with them or at all in the drone industry only the big name DRL pilots and KZbinrs get the work
@middleagedbaldguy677423 күн бұрын
It depends. If you are doing something like crop health/agronomy it shouldnt really matter. Inspecting critical infrastructure is a solid no. I would just plan on them not being available in the future and maybe invest a little more in a domestic drone. Our program switched to WISPR and they are pricey but beyond capable. Some of the best sensors I have seen and the Ranger pro will fly in wind conditions that DJI platforms wont even sniff at.

@@middleagedbaldguy677414,000$? this is government overreach. They do not want Joe Schmoe to have drones.

Dang guys is there nothing but over priced junk out there. I guess we need to fight harder for dji eh.
@georgeclapenstein782320 күн бұрын
It’s too late… we are doomed. They do not want Americans with DJI drones. Why not just force DJI cloud for US customers only? Like no way for China to get in.

Ummm, that would be the F-14 Tomcat or the F-15 Eagle. Gotta choose one.

They need to bring back the 3DR SOLO,I have 3,2 new which I bought several yrs ago (less than $300) And the first one I bought at FRY'S ELECTRONIC STORE which cost $999 + tax is still my favorite. I do have the first DJI MAVIC PRO which came out on 2017 and finally I bought the DJI MAVIC MINI 3 PRO this February 2024 before they stop selling it. But these American drones coming out recently are way too pricey for a recreational pilot like me.😔

Will this ban affect recreational drone pilots models?
@goner4150Ай бұрын
it's banning DJI drones, not recreational vs part 107 pilots

DJI supports Chinese military too. It's absolutely necessary to develop a self sustainable American drone industry.

Well this was useless, nothing shows how this junk competes with DJI…because they don’t have the commitment and resources that DJI has. You covered a lot about cameras but not a lot about the flyability and use of the actual drone. Oh, and btw, screw Skydio! Using politics to stifle the real competition due to their lack of talent….

Fantastic video. Great job seeing the need for businesses to pivot and adopt alternatives to their current 100% reliance upon an unsustainable source that depends on unfair trade and monopolistic practices. It was a great ride, but buying one single drone that will grow with your business and allow you to carry interchangeable payloads and full frame cameras and sensors is far better than buying single use single payload drones that must be replaced every year. Companies must pivot to prevent risk to their ability to put food on the table due to a trade war. Otherwise, they are indeed going to go bankrupt. Writing your U.S. politicians and asking them to embrace PRC during a trade war and degrading relations is futile and not a business plan.

Sorry, these are all junk toys compared to the DJI lineup. DJI has decades on everybody else, higher tech, more streamlined, better looking, and incredible support. US companies can't compete.
