I’m a big fan of ecru, beiges, mochas, etc. that can be so rich looking. Those pillows are the bomb and you’re the queen of ruffles! Your work is so neat and professional looking, shows a lot of patience, as I know. It’s so satisfying to create beautiful projects on your own, thanks for the lesson.

Thank you my friend; I love these colors for Fall decorating! I make lots of pillows for each holiday and season, as they quickly add charm around my home. Creating large ruffles is a bit time consuming, but I listen to music or watch some Hallmark Mystery movies as I’m happily working through those gathers!

Beautiful items! I love how you explain each step. You do such a neat job on your projects, so unlike those who are in a big hurry to get done. And I'm so glad you are using an iron on your seams--that is something that most sewers forget. My teacher told me that the iron is as important as the sewing machine! Blessings

Hello Joanne, and thank you so much! I’m certainly one who enjoys taking time while I’m creating these projects. To me, it’s such a fun and relaxing process, and I want others to enjoy creating these projects for themselves too! And I totally agree with you regarding the importance of properly ironing the seams. It just makes sewn projects look more polished to me too!

Hello rosezrose! I’m going to make a few more sets of those coasters for Christmas. I also have more drop cloth projects planned, but I need to find good drop cloths. I bought one that I can’t use in sewing projects because it still looks dingy gray after multiple washes. I’m working on a new video using Sherpa fabric. Lots of fuzzy fun coming soon!

Hi Michele, and thank you for your kind comments! I usually purchase my drop cloth from either Home Depot or Walmart. I also wash them twice after letting them soak in bleach for about 30 minutes before each washing. Hope this helps!

Gorgeous projects, Becky!! I'm loving that ruffled pillow! Gotta try that for my bedroom. Do the coasters need any kind of sealant or are they meant to be just decorative? I wasn't sure I'd missed anything. I rewound but never saw anything and, sometimes, I look too hard and miss the obvious! 🤷😂

Hello Jan, and thank you! I agree that it’s getting harder to find good drop cloths here lately. I always double wash my drop cloth after letting it soak for about 30 minutes in bleach each time. @@EdwinaOakley thank you for thinking about me and my sister! Her situation was very dire for a bit. At one point the family was called to the hospital to say goodbye, because they felt her death was imminent. But God, in His infinite mercy, has allowed her to recover. She spent almost the entire month of September in the hospital, but is now home. She still has a very long road ahead of her. They said it will take months for her to regain her strength due to the massive blood loss she suffered. I’m just so thankful that she’s still alive and she says she’s feeling better each day! We are all physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually exhausted right now but praising God for the miracle that we saw happen in that hospital room!
