It's even worse than that: Ever since she was a kid, she wasn't allowed to use her Quirk, because of how it works. But as a consequence of its existence, and of bottling it up unhealthily like she did, she outright _needs_ blood, and has a psychological compulsion to bleed things dry. She was quite literally tortured into insanity by suppressing her Quirk so she could fit in as a "normal" girl.

Except quirks that require training and exercises. Can’t become a pro if you don’t know what that quirk is good for. Usually copying or replicate only good for basic. In advance, there are multiple of other things to consider. Pretty sure the reason she can’t copy Midoriya quirks because he doesn’t have one. It does rise a question about quirk transfer vs innate quirks. Everything after power level is just speed and tactic. Raw power can solve most problems but tactic and speed usually the guarantee success. Hence, you have precision as a part of another mechanic for potential damage.

This was a really lovely and beautiful scene. We got to see a true storm of emotions in Toga who was at time wearing Ochako's face. When her quirk powered up, and she moved around in swift, animalistic and predatory grace... dem some chills man.

That animator already said that it's something common in this industry, i mean, the animator can make a REALLY amazing, smooth and detailed animation but... Yeah, someone has to color that, and then they mix all the scenes into the episode, then the seiyuus give their voices, then they add ost and other sound effects, then they cut some things if the episode goes over the time limit, then they hand the episode to the TV and the TV censors stuff (in case the episode needs censor) and FINALLY we see the episode. Animation can be good but it doesn't matter how good it is, it's pointless if the episode is not finished in time.

See this? This right here is why I can’t call this season lazy in good faith. While the latter half of this season has certainly made some questionable choices, the really good and well done moments are so good that I can’t not be impressed by what they pulled off. Should MVA have had an extra 2 or 3 episodes to cover the stuff they ended up cutting? Absolutely, but so long as the rest of the arc gives us amazing moments like this, I think it’ll ultimately be alright

With toga’s quirk as it is now, she could get over a lot of issues other copy quirk users deal with like with fat gum’s quirk that requires fat to work, she can just change in to him to get it, but of course she gets downsides like with dabies body not being suited for his body meaning that she would also experience that issue.

I don't think i've enjoyed many shapeshifter copy characters in fiction. Mostly because their backstories are so overly developed and bland. Its comedy but the Sovereign from Venture Brothers had a simple and tasteful story to him. I really love the idea of a shapeshifter who wanted to be anyone but themselves.

@@imjusttrynaratiosomebody9802 if she has the blood of people she "loves" (feels connected to) she can use their powers when transforming as them. In this instance, she felt connected to ochaco through both of their love for midoriya (or I guess in toga's case, her perception of her "love" in a weird way matches with ochaco wanting to be more like midoriya by liking and being inspired by him), so she was able to use ochaco's powers.

Do not believe what they say that only the people she loves, in the beta information about her is specified that she can copy the quirk and the appearance. toga says that "I use the quirk of the people I love UwU" why she sees it that way instead of seeing it as the normal way since she is literally crazy and does not reason
