The liquor store robber originally had more lines after the first *_"Fuck me.",_* but the actor was so blown away by seeings the full *RoboCop* costume for the first time that he forgot his lines and just kept repeating *_"Fuck me!"._* Verhoeven liked it, and so he left it in.

The original of that line was, "Would you buy that for a quarter?" As written by C.M.Kornbluth in The Marching Morons, a sardonic sci-fi novel from the Fifties. He used the same concept as Idiocracy - that stupid people would out-breed smart and average people, until the US was an entire country of dimbulbs. The plot was quite different, though.

Lol. Of what possible use could that safe be? It's covered by one layer of beer cans, so the first time someone buys one beer it will reveal the safe. Also it's time consuming to open and close, requiring you to move a stack of beer cans every time (and reveal your secret to whomever happens to be in the store.) It's completely impractical for a retail store at any level, just put it in the back closet or something. Also I'd buy that for a dollar anyway.
