I watched this just like any of the other videos Chad and Jolene produce and all I get out of this is he is very even tempered, thoughtful in his choice of words and above all has a creative vision. Instead of the mean and negative comments why not just follow along and see where it all goes. You don’t have to love the finished outcome but you should appreciate what he did to get the project done. Each viewer has their own perception of what they see but highly doubt they can do 20% of what he can get done. It would be a genuine treat to spend a day in his shop and assist him while watching it happen.

Just in the first few minutes of this show we are able to see all these cars and Chad going through his ideas for all. This guy knows exactly what he is doing. The extra portion most don’t get to see is the creative part as he goes about cutting and welding. We get to see him work every day. love it. I’ll never say a negative word about the looks of it or the way he did this or that because this is an artist going through his vision. Love every bit of it, keep it up.

You have to allow for clearances for exhaust manifolds and spark plugs . For anybody that is trying to learn how to do this . Exhaust manifolds should be on when you mock up an engine .

@@chrisarnold5154 Why do you even come back to watch these builds since you think they are not educational🤔🤔. Oh I know because you are so freaking jealous because bad Chad is so successful and you’re not !!! Bad Chad says every single day this is just how he does things and everyone can take the parts they like and ignore the part they don’t like or do it their way ect ect ect…….. so instead of confusing people with your negative comments why don’t you get the hell off of this awesome KZbin channel instead of being a total A$$ !!

Glad you're enjoying yourselves on YOUR project to do as you please. Enjoying watching as you share in your adventure. The comment section is a good place to note my own personal opinion. I think the square roof on the round car was awkward looking from the start & still looks wrong to me. Would look so much more cohesive if you chopped & shortened the original round roof.

See now you're catching on, The Champ likes to build cars that nobody has ever seen before, he doesn't want people to say look at that 69 Camaro, or oh nice 1968 Mustang, he likes when people say WTF is that thing ??? 🤔 It's much more fun to build a conversation piece ! Like Bonnie Raitt says..."Let's give em something to talk about". 😉✌

@@severinappleton3438 Once again it’s not about you, and it’s not about building something other people usually build. It’s about an artist and his ability to create art that has never been created before and that is why his KZbin channel is so successful and why he as an individual is so successful so suck it up buttercup and enjoy the artist and artist projects !!!!

Oldredchevy 1949 YES, this car looks fantastic from the front, BUT it looks very strange from the other 3 sides. IF that is the look he was after, I would say great. Over the years Chad's creations have been a much better flowing design. Chad is only human and yes, he admits that he doesn't get it right everytime. This is proof that Chad is human and maybe made a mistake on this roof. Can you imagine how sharp this car would look as a convertible? Hopefully he will come up with an idea of "Wow, let's make this a roadster"!!!

The reason that the motor has to be tilted back 3 to 5 degrees is because of the angle of the pinion in the rear end. In order for the rear end to work properly and to account for the torque effect on the rear end, the pinion angle is set at 3 to 5 degrees upwards. Because of the way that driveshafts work, when you have two universal joints on either end of the driveshaft, the pinion angle and the angle of the engine need to be equal and opposite. The engine designers probably would use the angle to incorporate some oil drain back to the sump, but that isn't the primary reason.

For those of you who do not like this bill and think he should do it a different way🤔🤔 guess what ?? This build is doing exactly what he said it would and that is people will lean on a beautiful normal build and look and talk about this build….. and that my friend is why people keep coming back not because he does normal build that every other channel does !! Bad Chad you are an amazing man and I really think people just can’t handle you being different and creating what’s in your brain and not theirs🤔🤔. Keep up the great content and stay safe !!

Hey Chad. I might move the engine forward to get some weight over the front suspension and to give you room to get at the exhaust manifolds or headers. Can't tell what that engine mount tubing is made of but it might be an option to bend or cut and weld the ends of that tube assembly swinging the outer tubes back on a much sharper angle which would bring the engine forward for you.
