dropping the fuel tank on my Chevrolet C10 truck so that I can install another fuel pump. sorry that video ends early due to camera battery running dead but it's pretty much the whole install.

Watching you go through the whole beginning part of getting the tank out was the most helpful KZbin I could find today as you successfully worked through all the hidden issues as they came up. The other KZbins would just mention that you just needed to remove the bracket bolts and maybe the filler and vent tube and never work through detaching the hoses and wiring on top of the tank and out of reach. I knew the hoses and wiring were there but was trying to remember which end of the tank I had to lower more to get my arms and hands in there to disconnect. Thanks, and hang in there being a handy husband and dad.

Great Video. I am in the process of remove dual tanks on a 1980 Silverado Stepside & repairing gas line hoses leaking as well as changing both sending units. excellent job on safety & removing fuel. Thanks again Rick

Got a 85 c10 with the stock 6cyl 292. Need to replace old stock sending unit/ pump. Do you think I need the 100 would it hurt anything? What do you have under the hood?
@CurtARoll3 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't hurt being the fuel pressure is regulated and excess fuel will be returned to tank.

I hope you all realize these trucks are death traps with the fuel tanks on the outside of the frame and the faulty door latches that don't open when hit from the side/T-Bone

Would of been better off than just changing the whole fule pump, he's doing too much.

I did replace the whole fuel pump. I replaced the sending unit a couple years ago so there was no point in doing it again due to puncture in the pickup filter.
