Dropshot Perch Fishing | Loch Lomond | Loch Lubnaig

This week’s Angling 360, sees us explore some of Scotland’s big glacial lochs in search of one of the most iconic big water fish species in the country.
Travelling light and wandering the shoreline produces some results, but it always pays to have a plan B.

I have fished loch lubnaig. I used a kayak because it can be busy on the shore but no wonder its a nice place and ye big perch. On the kayak just dropping a drop shot with a lob worm getting them all day and getting into places with the kayak were people cant fish is good

Brilliant video lads, Lubnaig must be one of the nicest spots in the country to get out with a rod. Any tips on the best sections of the loch for the feeder?

Pick a quiet spot, if you can find one. And just wait on them turning up. Thing the top end is to shallow and weedy, but I may be wrong.

These days I use the fox dropshot rod 9 to 15grams I think it is. With a 3000 reel. Usually my wee Okuma jaw reel or aventus 3000 reel.
