Quick note id like to keep people aware of. Composing is much of a hobby for me and most of my work is unreleased cuz its not worth the trouble. So dont expect regular releases on this channel. Quality also oscillates quite a bit as I am still learning and experimenting. Inspiration comes and goes, and I also have studies, gaming and personal life. Nobody has done anything wrong there, I just wanna make things clear for everybody to avoid any disappointments or misunderstandings. Oh and the next isaac track will be a Dross track. After relistening to this one for about 100 times over the course of this year i finally understood what part of your songs pleases me the most: how you manage the MELODIES. During drops or tense segments many musicians tend to drown the song with A LOT of instuments. The result is usually a cacaphony that feels disconnected from the other parts of the song, as if during the drop it suddenly fell down the stairs and became a completely different thing; You, however, manage to make the tensest and loudest moments play in harmony with established leitmotifs, so the listener can go "yup, that's the song_name's MAIN moment". This track is a perfect example, where at 2:58 you add an extremely beautiful, somber melody to an already established drop. It feels like it BELONGS. You manage to pull the same stuff in Magmatisma, Lithophage, DRSP... As a result, these songs feel alive, with an established character, almost a personality. Oor maybe i become prone to overthinking after 3 coffees and no lunch. Still very cool.

This is on the same level as River of Despair. It really encapsulates Isaac's mind drifting off into the deep end, even literally in this sense since it's a water level. The way this community has added so much character to a story as simple as him believing he's the reason for his parents' issues, and taking his own life for it, never fails to awe me. This game as a whole is one big metaphor for all of it, and I commend Edmund. All of the enemies are based off Isaac himself, representing his suicide as he kills them all.

Mudeth definitely was the main inspiration for my works, along with Danny B, Ridiculon's more interesting tracks as well as Epic Mountain. I definitely don't try to go with Ridiculon's old Rebirth style. I prefer their more recent style as they gave melodies more importance than ambient background. I realised that they could have done so much better with less ambiant tracks and more emphasis on having something that sounds *interesting*, whoch they did for Repentance, and The End Is Nigh (even tho these are remixes of classical tracks i still count em in).

I worked on the mod in order to make every track stay at the same volume, and I used Drowned Sorrows as the base volume. So there should not be any problems. I will double check to make sure though!
