just a quick question about the point 2:39:20 what if B' is already a basis of W ( for example B'= (10)(01) and we choose B= (10) we see that B isn't a basis for R²)

Dr peyam,. In problem 2, we can have 2 equations and 3 unknowns...for example equation (1)---> a=1 equation (2)---> (a-b)²+c²=0, we have a=1 , b=1 ,c=0 as the only solution. Provided that we talk about real numbers.

The way I remember the order of rows and columns is by visualizing a column covered in roses.

Q3: let K be the field {0, 1} then if you have A = [0] the "system" Ax = 0 has exactly 2 solutions. This example is easily translated into a proper "system" of equations if you need so: for example let, in the same field, A be [1 0, 0 0] then the system Ax=0 has exactly 2 solutions: [0 0]T and [0 1]T. You can only exclude there are 2 solutions when there are no subspaces of 2 elements, for example if you assume to be working on R

Get well as fast as you can... take the integral from sick to healthy of cancer^(chemo/radiation), and differentiate it until it hits 0!!! .... joke aside, best wishes and stay strong. Afterwards, you'll be pretty badass when you can proudly call yourself a cancer survivor

Are we allowed to recall the property of not "generating" subspace from union of two previous, to prove the 43rd question? I mean, if we consider the basis of W-subspace as union of the vectors who generate the V-space by the 41st answer we get the contradiction. Hope I got clear and it was not a nonsense...

How is this question 49 different from question 47? in 47 we said the dimensions of the null space is 4 but the vectors are in R^6 but in Q49) col space is in R^m but the dimension is 2.... making the statement true right?

I think question 3 could be true if you take the binary field 🤔 Because you either get 1 solution, no solutions, or that every element in the field you are considering is a solution, in the case of the real numbers which was used it is only 1, 0 or infinite solutions.
