Also, for some, the "dream" simply doesn't come no matter how hard you work. Not everything in life works out; that's PART of it. But ANY man can be a decent husband and father, no matter his income or assets or lack thereof.

Such facts! There's absolutely nothing wrong with pursuing "the dream", even if you are delusional, terrible (or on the come up to put more nicely), and still figuring things out. IN SO FAR, as you are able to do it on your own dime, and take care of yourself without having to rely on others.

I wouldn't listen to Gene simmons on anything. Kiss Is a talentless rock band they've never written a good song ever. They're fame is from dressing up and jamming on a guitar and yelling one line over and over again.

This video is old. This rocker dude can pay $40 to distrokid and they can put his music on iTunes and Spotify even tiktok. Promoters only charge $45 for interviews from blogs. It’s more easier now to be a rocker...

The irony of gene once being told to get a job when he was a wannabe rocker now telling another wannabe rocker the same thing.

Ah, my late older brother: He spent most of his life without a job. He was a professional musician, and technically a failed rock star; AND-he was once invited by Gene Simmons to audition for him (when Ace Frehley originally left 'KISS' in the early 80s). He didn't get the job (obviously, for it went to Vinnie Vincent). True story! I'm trying to remember if he ever held a day job in his life.

@@Ditka-89 The last thing I said to my late older brother alive was the opening line of The Righteous Brothers' "Rock N Roll Heaven". Back in '70-'71, he was a guitarist in The Buddy Miles Band-with whom he live shows with Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Janis Joplin, who are all mentioned in this song. He was also at Jimi Hendrix's funeral. It wasn't until after his death that I discovered that he had auditioned for KISS! Hmm.
