Denial or not, anything he says or does at this point that is anything but taking responsibility for his actions, or lack thereof, is inexcusable. He should truly be ashamed for not even caring about who he’s hurting in the process, namely his ex-wife that he robbed their retirement fund of who now has to scrape by in her 70’s. I get what you’re saying, I do think something is wrong, but the matter of fact is that he is impacting far more than his own life with the road he’s going down- and he’s screwed his ex-wife out a financially secure future to pursue his own fantasies. Even more of a slap in the face, completely unbeknownst to her, so she didn’t even get a say as to whether she wanted to try and stick around and try to help him when the option to help was still on the table.
