When I was in the hospital and asked my professor about a patient who was "trans women" and how we should approach him and he said doesn't matter what he thinks he is he is a male doesn't matter of how much hormones and chemicals he take he will still be a male and we will treat him as a male that's it if we give him female treatment he will probably die so you can't magically change your gender.

As I bi woman having grown up in a very old school and conservative household I know the feeling of being looked at as the "black sheep" of the family or the odd one out but you know what I've realised, it's not my parents fault that it took them a long time to get over the fact that I like women too, they only know what they were taught and the lessons they grew up with, its a lack of education on sexuality and a lack of conversations about sexuality with their parents etc. if they grew up in a society that was more open minded and open to conversations about sexuality don't you think they'd be a bit more open minded too??
