This is fascinating information. I had C-diff a long time ago but it did a number on my gut including developing SIBO. I have tried every probiotic known to man I think until this one which I began a couple of months ago after watching a video on why certain probiotics can make SIBO worse. This Sacccharomyces has been a game changer. All the gas and bloating is gone. I'm actually able to eat a few things I would have never considered prior to starting this, and have become more regular. I would love to know even more about this type of probiotic, is there one brand better than another and how much to take for a therapeutic effect. Your information is helpful.

As your gut health improves you will be able to increase more variety of foods. I have patients consult my practice who can only eat a few foods without reactions. After about 6-8 months they are almost back to eating normal foods. The gut takes a while to heal but once you know what it needs- it’s amazing to see changes! Best of luck!!!

I haven't seen any. Only benefits. That said, any probiotic could clash with your current gut microbial balance (which might be outif a healthy balance). Even if you experienced temporary stool changes, I would think sachromyces boulardii is helping things move in a positive direction. I hope that makes sense! Have you started it yet?

Our education is so twisted that we appear intelligent because we are taught in a way to teach us enough, make us think we know a lot but keep us dumb to the truth. Yeast sounds like a bad word but is just a category. Candida is a bad yeast like bad bacteria and good bacteria. I just discovered that prebiotics feed probiotics. So, taking prebiotics without the proper probiotics to feed is useless. Which prebiotics are mainly in fruits, vegetables, dairy etc. Also, you need a healthy fat to absorb certain elements of food like nutrients and minerals like avocado, sesame or coconut - even dairy. My favorite is sesame oil and sesame seeds because it elevated my health as a woman. Also, papaya helped with my pelvic floor. We really have to accept that God didn't give us foods to hurt us. That process foods are bad and everything natural is amazing for us. That animals treated with antibiotics wipe out our gut. We have to be careful and learn to teach ourselves properly because as Americans we are condition at a very young age to be confident in our knowledge as they feed us their misleading methods of thought and knowledge. We have to rethink how we see the world and hear things. It's heartbreaking when this is finally realized because so much time was wasted from our lives. Edit: I learned animals treated with antibiotics become resistant to bacteria. So, they live til the slaughter. That means when you eat that animal, you consume that bacteria and antibiotics will not help you. But make things worse. Always question and always pursue. Happy findings truth seekers.
