Dr. Shefali you have changed my life. I can feel the shift from the 1st chapter to the last. Im re-reading, my friend is reading and we are mind blown. I am also reading The Awakened Family and The Conscious Parent is next in my cart. This shift has already resulted in a major shift with husband and we are working on making deeper connections thru greater self-awareness . We have realised that there is a lot more that we can work on but we couldn't see until we read this book. My husband started reading as well and his most profound impact was the trauma to rhe femalw psyche he thought it crazy that women wake up with a fear to go out into the world. He has seen the discomfort of women who refused the elevator because she was outnumbered. He thought that was a female ego snobbing men, he never realised it was fear. He also thought complimenting women was a good deed but sometimes he got dismissive looks and he thought im being respectful why are women so mean, he realised that his "thats a lovely dress" is another man's "i want to see u out of that dress" and women are just tired of the objectification. He's still reading. Its such a journey for us. Thank you so much
