Always great content and relevant to my '99 Tahoe 2 door. Will be doing the Brake booster (following your video) and reservoir this weekend, then maybe next weekend get to changing the plugs and wires. I don't want to break down and get a GM Tech 2.. but I think I am going to have to, to keep my old battle wagon on the road. Thanks again.

I change the wires every time I tune mine up. Wires, plugs, rotor, distributor cap. Amazon makes it affordable. And always use AC!

What is the purpose of whatever it is that the lime green cap is protecting? Is that the evap canister line it's on? Never noticed that before.

That's a dust cover for a port into the evap system.

Dr. Shock… have you ever replaced the master cylinder in one of these trucks with a 2003 Chevy truck master cylinder? The brakes are much better with the newer model master cylinder. I’ve done it in 3 that I have owned. All 98’s. There’s a plug that don’t get used on the newer part but everything works as it should. Better than the original equipment

It takes an adapter on the front connection but the rear connection is the same

No, I don't do any modifications or take on aftermarket type change jobs. For the folks whose vehicles I work on, as well as my own, it's all pretty mch vanilla stock OEM just as GM engineering designed them.
