I'm a Liverpool fan and the last 2 seasons he has had an amazing 1st half of the season and a poor 2nd half Last season, people talk about 39 G/a, but these were mostly from the first half of the season, as he was alongside Haaland as the best player in the PL up until he went to the AFCON. But he was underwhelming in the AFCON before he got injured, and when he returned to the Liverpool team he looked unfit, had a rusty touch, and his finishing was well below his normal standards. So whilst he could possibly have sneaked in to the top 30 list for Ballon d'Or, I do actually understand him not being in it. A couple years ago was the Salah snub for me. At the time he was the most in form player in the world. I thought he could have won the Ballon d'Or, but would've understood him being 2nd or 3rd. But he came 7th that year, and that was the year he was disrespected. I don't think the top 30 list this year is a disrespectful snub given his poor 2nd half of last season.
