I'm 47 and have been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis/ chronic small airway disease. I have never smoked, but my parents did. I think 2nd hand smoke and industrial chemicals - Resin caused my illness.

I Was Initially Diagnosed With Emphysema Through Chest X-Rays And Bronchitis By A Near Constant Productive Cough. I Quit Smoking Cold Turkey And The Coughing Has Abated; But Other Symptoms Persist> Recently I Had An "Attack" Matching Every Symptom Of Status Asthmaticus. I Now Assume I Have Both COPD And Severe Asthma.... Would You Do A Video On Patients That Seem To Have Both Diseases? THANK YOU!!!!

I have pulmonary fibrosis from a relatively " mild" dose of covid 19. Yet,my consultant insists its " idiopathetic" as he insists lung scarring only occurs from severe or lifethreatening covid 19. But, a 2022 study indicates the opposite. People can get lung scarring from mild covid also. What's your opinion Doctor. I'm taking esbriet but I believe I should also be on steroids for inflammation.

Would have mom with COPD increase my risk I'm 30 smoke and vape for only 5 years and I have cough and mucus each morning I wake up for long time now no shortness of breath tho only little maybe if I run but not notice do daily tasks

Have you ever known anyone with COPD to reverse almost completely the condition? Or, atleast have significant improvement at the cellular level?

Im living prof i probably have another year till I'm completely healed, has not been an easy journey, im now doing 25 min jogging where before i couldnt get up the stairs i would pass out alot
