He mentions listening to Vedic chants in addition to TM. I recommend "Mahamritunjaya Mantra" - Sacred Sound Choir". (Also called the Rudra mantra, it's in Rig Veda (7:59:12; authored by Vasistha). . also listen to "Om Namah Shivaya - Shivanandi Adi", - the video showing the pic of Shiva. This mantra is from the Krishna Yajurveda. Listen to each for 5 minutes at least per day.

Dr. Nader, if someone is pondering a particularly difficult business or family problem, would it be helpful to do TM meditation for more than 20 minutes twice a day?

We practice TM 2X per day for 20mins; there is the possibility of checking and a third group meditation everyday; but TM is not used as a bandaid; its purpose is to create a permanent neurophysiological condition of experiencing this pure awareness, deep peace and rest 24/7 as an all-time reality. 20 mins 2X a day is the maximum integration of this experience for everyday active life; if one is actually retired other considerations and instructions can be provided by a certified teacher.
