Crazy story! I believe most NYer's outside of Staten Island underestimate the boro, because of how inconvenient it is to travel to. You either ride the ferry or drive over the Verrazano. Every other boro can be accessed with ease by MTA, car, bike or on foot. It's crazy in SI! Lots of gang and Mafia activity.

Sounds like u had an awesome stand-up chick with Julissa, Hard To Find & R.I.P.! Your accent is similar to many of the Italians we have her in Australia. Especially from where I grew up, except instead of the American accent mix it's an Aussie accent mix, probably would sound weird to you. Even I (Aussie), started talking with my hands when I was young because I knew so many italians & they all did, it just wear's off on ya. Whenever i'd go to their houses, my friends moms would say...
