Great videos. Clear, and speedy, and the speaker's voice is interesting. I like how you provide only needed information some videos go into overkill with too much detail that we cannot retain critical information.

Well explained; great video. I take prescription aspirin as a blood thinner and your video raised a question in my mind. You mentioned 25mg of aspirin in the Aspirin Combo medicine is sufficient to block COX1 then why don't the cardiologist prescribe 25mg Aspirin twice a day instead of one 81mg Aspirin tablet as a blood thinner - this may reduce the possibility of stomach bleeds, ulcers, tinnitus, etc. Appreciate your views.

What about lowering fibrinogen? Since fibrin is the glue that holds the platelets together. A study showed 2 grams of turmeric per day lowered fibrinogen 20%. Mine went from 445 to 341.

@@DrugChug yes, it did. I'm in nursing school and taking Pharmacology. You're doing a good job of explaining how drugs work, so I'm not just memorizing names, actions, and side effects. Just a suggestion, but maybe put something about nursing in your descriptions, if not the actual titles? Or you could upload copies with nursing in the titles. I say this because nursing videos get a lot more views than straight-up Pharm videos, and your videos deserve a lot more views. Just an idea.

Sir my doctor has prescribed aspirin 75 mg and SSRI PAROXETINE 25 mg. Sir is it safe to take both of these at the same time? I'd appreciate if you can tell that if someone is on aspirin and if by any chance he bleeds how blood coagulation will perform as aspirin stops the formation of blood clot.

To avoid a heart attack is it OK to take 1 75mg asprin in a morning, then 1 more 75mg asprin before bed?
@77sogeorge

It’s better not to take it prophylactically. That’s new research. Only take if you’ve had a cardiovascular incident before.

@@johnrambo4245 if you eat like a hog and live a sedentary lifestyle and expect an aspirin to save you from a heart attack, then feel free. I’ve been working in the cardiac catheterization lab for 25 years. I know what I’m taking about. There was a time when the prophylactic use of Aspirin was widespread, but it’s changed recently. Unless you have high risk factors or have had one cardiovascular event, it’s not being encouraged. This is published research and not my pseudoscience. But of course, THE John Rambo knows better. 🤣😂🤣😂

@Solomon George Like I said zero sense If its good enough to stop a heart attack a second time, then it's good enough to stop one in the first place. All you robotic zealots that "work" in the medical fields need to learn to think for yourselves instead of regurgitating the spew that comes from above, but you never will because the other sheep would oust you from their flock.
