Tbh I've been subbed to Jaclyn since the beginning and she really hasn't changed that much. She's grown as a woman and experienced new opportunities, but at her core she's still the same person who made videos in her kitchen with the fridge in the back. If anything she's just more comfortable in front of the camera. Don't mistake growth for change.

I think her fans were hurt that the success came and they were left behind. You can see that she was starting to move on. But the fact that her fans were upset and instead of giving up and washing her hands of KZbin she stepped in and gave us this video shows that who she is is deeply engrained in her. This video made me so proud of her. I've been praying for here I'm glad she did this!

gi co notice how in this video her real face texture comes out so clearly? If you look back at her older videos, you can see how her face looks perfectly flawless, the highlight looks unbelievably smooth, and it seemed like her cheeks were blurred.. I might be wrong, but I know that a lot of people called her out on this. Therefore, I think that it makes total sense that she used face filters, because I really don't remember seeing so much of her real skin texture in her videos.

Hana she admitted to using facial fillers in the video she did with KKW. When Kim asked her how her under eye area was so smooth she responded with "I have facial fillers" and everyone attacked her but no one even knew she had them before she admitted it

I don’t get people complaining about her using her palette in this. She didn’t say drugstore or dirt cheap. She just said affordable. And $38 for a palette with 35 shades IS affordable. People keep comparing just the price to high end palettes without acknowledging how many more shades you get in her’s than in the high end palettes they are comparing it to. I just wish people could stop focusing so much on trying to bring people down because no one wins in that scenario....

Shelbizleee When you break down the price of *any* palette, it’s usually pretty inexpensive in regards to the per shadow price. The whole point of palettes is you’re getting a savings. It’s what you plunk down all at once that matters. Drugstore palettes generally run between $7-$15 (with some higher, some lower). The price of her palette is on par with Tarte, Stila, & Anastasia ... none of which would ever be considered “drugstore.”

Please make more looks using your palette. We all bought it because we love you and love the product. Teach us how to use it. Make an easy everyday glam look only using 2-3 colors. I have been a subscriber for a long time....from Mac to the makeup geek days. If Jaclyn raved about it, I bought it. Recently I had stopped watching and didn't take her recommendations seriously anymore because she was all about Morphe and it just seemed way too gimmicky to me....this video is a huge YES! It's reminiscent of the old Jaclyn that I so deeply admire....even now I'll get ready to her old videos because girl could do no wrong in my eyes! I hope we get more videos like this again from her....I am not a drugstore junkie but enjoy the fact that she used all affordable products nonetheless....I also don't own the morphe palette and have no desire to do so. That being said, I am so glad she is listening to the requests and comments from viewers. For the people complaining the palette isn't affordable, she is clearly trying to appease the endless amount of viewers who went out and bought the palette and that's why she used it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just my two cents....loved this video!

Tbh I had no idea how much use I was going to get out of the Jaclyn H Palette. I was debating back and fourth if I should or should not buy it. I realized I had nothing in my humble collection like it and now it’s all I use. Everything is in there! Even the second shade in the Palette (top row) is a superb highlight! I also have to add that I am really happy that we can see your skins texture and everything. It gives a more realistic expectation of what makeup can and cannot do. I remember feeling discouraged for months when I first started caring more about the application of makeup and the entire process. Unfortunately for this statement, at around 1$ per eyeshadow is very affordable. If your location requires a hefty shipping fee, making the palette more costly - maybe it's your responsibility to go out and find resembling eye shadows more accessible to you. You are not required to follow this tutorial step by step, and it is not a woman on your screen, Jaclyn's, responsibility that you don't have her palette or those same colours. The video is made & uploaded, you can't change it & she can't go back. She WANTED to use her own colours and she did, just like you are free to use your own or purchase whatever you please.

Destini Burkham rose water with glycerin will be your bff ! Use it after moisturizer, before your makeup & to set your face. It makes all the products just melt & look like skin. You can find it at Whole Foods for cheap or make your own. Also, using a damp sponge to set under your eyes & even your whole face really helps

You just sold me on your palette with this eye look. It's gorgeous and thank you for putting green e/s in your palette. Green is a neutral and is great for any eye or skin color. They make blue eyes bluer; green eyes will pop and it brings out the hazel undertones of brown eyes. You just can't go wrong with green (of any hue). Looks beautiful!
