Thanks for this video and being mindful of those of us on a budget. I’ve found Giovanni L.A. Hold gel give one of the tightest, strongest holds ever. It’s really sticky but you can scrunch it out. I bought it at Whole Foods Market on sale for $5.99. Normally around $8.99. Awesome drugstore/grocery store price!

Okay so I just found your channel…. and I was up until 1am watching your videos and taking notes! I just love how informational you are and how you take the time to really break it down for beginners and people who may not be as informed. All the big curly girl KZbinrs never teach me like this! Every video is in my watch later I think I’ve finally learned how to deal with my curls 😂❤️ thank you!!!!!

@@GenaMarie I was wondering if you’d consider making a video about different curly hairstyles to do that aren’t so damaging. Since my curls are still damaged I’m not confident in leaving them down, but found that tight buns and a lot of styles stretch them out! Thanks!

I have been trying out the Hask Curl Care and have really liked it! So far I’ve just done the shampoo, conditioner, and cream, but they do a great job with cleaning, slip, and definition. I layer the Not Your Mother’s mousse on top and I have loved the results. That would be a great brand to review since they are available at drugstores and only $7 each!

I did the smasters technique with the Dove gel yesterday & it's probably the best washday I've had in a while. That was the only new product I used in the routine so the results came from the gel. It offered some curl enhancement & made my hair so shiny & bouncy!

Completely off-topic, but I love your lipstick/gloss color! I'm super pale with a pink undertone, but I think I could rock that color, too! I really want to try the Dove gel! I normally stay away from glycerin, but I know you are in a similar humid summertime environment, so I know the gel has to be super awesome!
@GenaMarie3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's this one from Physicians Formula in "Pillow Talk": rstyle.me/+oHOsOFttC0-PccNiB1gD4g Issues with glycerin are usually due to the product not having enough hold or not have humidity-blocking ingredients paired with it, which is why I love this gel because it has both holding ingredients and polyquats to counteract the effects of glycerin.

This is another great video! Seems like all your videos cover my same struggles and always learning something new from you! I’ve done so much trial and error past 4 months and have found all Giovanni works great for me! Yay! The Hair Repear towels are great because they're flat-weave cotton, which is much better than microfiber which has little fibers that snag

I’ve never seen the white hairrepear towel! I definitely don’t have low density in the top back but I color it and it looks low density because of the grey coming through so I’m always careful about covering that back area-and that video you did about covering it was the very first video of yours I saw!! 😍

The Hairitage products are more on the natural side. Both do not have silicone or waxes. Not all products from both lines are silicone free, but these are. Both have fragrances

They are most definitely not natural. So nice they seem decent though which is cool Remember, no way a KZbinr can say if products will work for and keep in mind sponsored content. My sister has fine gray wavy hair and her stylist got her hair looking really smooth while preserving her waves & calming her stubborn grays. She was following a bunch of TikTok and KZbin/IG advice that was all wrong for me. Ask your stylist to analyze what would be best 😊

@@staceypetro257 I started using Cocunat products, I really like them. They're pricey, but they're all natural. I'm always good until I go out in the humidity. I finally got a haircut since the pandemic maybe a month ago. Where the old dye was, I had no frizz but I'm keeping it real. I need good, all natural no frizz gel maybe.
